i can see why it didnt really take off for them at this point. With hindsight you an view it as a burgeoning great band finding their feet, but hearing this in 1991 i can imagine they sounded like baggy also rans. I quite like it, and woul dance were it on in a club but there was a stack of stuff around like this at this time. That said the drums are god on it and Graham is an AXE HERO! wether he likes it or not.

Graham Coxon hit back at Butler's comments and about how Suede always dissed them. He claimed Bernard sat on his doorstep pestering Graham to take them on tour. Apparently Suede longed to be Blur's support. The rivalry was big. A lot of it was due to Justine Frischmann: Brett Anderson's girlfriend, then Damon Albarn's (there was some overlap too). Most of the songs on Suede's first album are about Damon and Justine. She was also why Oasis/Blur later fell out. Liam Gallagher fancied her like mad.
