This video is the best "how to play video i have ever seen" simply perfect!! I really appreciate your effort to make this video man. Greetings from Turkiye. Peace!
@ayrilivanttu Thanks. That means a lot to me. I am honestly surprised by how popular this video has been. I never imagined so many people would be interested in "Concrete Jungle." I guess it just goes to show that there are lots of guitar-playing Marley fans, and that they want to play more than just "No Woman, No Cry." (I do love "No Woman, No Cry," by the way!)
@BaldHeadBrad exactly man. i am a big fan, and i am a guitarist for a long time, and this is the easiest way for me to learn. i am waiting for more videos from you! thanks ind advance!
GREAT expanation - super clear and concise. Thanks for taking the time to do this - I really appreciate it, and I am sure a lot of other people do as well! Saludos.
@Joel4816 Thanks. I generally use live versions of the songs as my backing tracks. If I used album recordings, I'd get copyright complaints, even though I should be allowed to do so under Fair Use, educational guidelines. It's just not worth the appeals headache. On some songs, like "Small Axe," "Soul Rebel," and "Bad Card," I make my own backing tracks.
@aevictis Thanks. Yeah, I've taken a few lessons--when I first started playing guitar many years ago, and again more recently--in an attempt to learn notation and study music theory. I've never been able to grasp that stuff, though. To me, it's like trying to learn an obscure language. So, I've had to instead learn to play by just having at it. That's why I don't include any theory in my song lessons. I just try to show how to play the chords, the changes, maybe a little TAB. (cont'd)
@BaldHeadBrad (cont'd) I'm not a pro player by any means. I simply enjoy the instrument and music in general. I hope my videos help a few people figure out the songs they love. I know I've learned a lot from YouTube. It's a great resource. When I was a kid, the internet didn't exist, so learning how to play songs was a lot tougher!
Was expectin dis guy to say "I'm not even suppose to be here today!!" xP Looks a load like Dante from Clerks!

@lobocop101 Excellent. That's why I make the vids--it's always easiest to learn songs when you can actually see a clear demonstration.
