This vid is exactly what I think about the Geneva Conventions. Why follow the rules if nobody else does? US is only country that really follows those to the letter, nobody else cares. Of course there are still "rules," if you want to call them that, in modern warfare. I hope everyone is aware of this; thinking otherwise is ignorance, yes. Many treatises have been formed in relation to the boundaries of international war, in addition to other generally accepted customs, and I will say they have done wonders for the world at the least. However, in additon to a good awareness and knowledge of the world, it is good to have a sense of humor and/or awareness of grammar specifics.

Actually, there are rules in modern warfare.

The one that stands out for me, is the one where medics are not to be killed, because the assaulting nation (the army that killed the medic) would have to pay the cost for killing that medic, which is not cheap, they have to pay bonds.
