I strongly disagree. What makes people a family, isn't genetic. Dean and Sam have no right to be pissed at Cas, because they've both made way more mistakes involving demons... and Cas is new to this whole "free choice" concept he's bound to make mistakes esp after "losing faith" not finding God.... He may have hide things from the Winchesters, done stuff they might not approve of... but i"m sure he thinks whatever hes up to was in their best interest.

@CrAZychicke He is still alive. Castiel did kill him but like Cass just said in the preview, apparently they die and keep coming back. We saw that Crowley was still alive the end of last episode.
This trailer only is enough to make me cry. I don't know what i'm gonna do with the episode on Friday. If anything happened to Castiel, it would hurt me so bad. He's such an amazing character. He grew on me so fast. The show will never be the same without him. He isn't a Winchester but like Bobby, he makes a special part of the show. I doubt they're going to get rid of Cas. They've developed his character so much, and they only take the time develop characters this in depth when they're planning on keeping the character. Cas has become one of the family, and I can't really see him leaving the show. Supernatural without Cas just isn't Supernatural. Of course, the show is about the 2 boys, but at this point, the story line has become so much more in depth, and Cas has definitely become a major character.

I believe that Cas is now integral to Supernatural. Although the show started out as a tale of two brothers, who is to say it can't develop and change? Like the Winchesters, Cas is a fascinating character. I've always found him incredibly interesting - especially his relationship with Dean and Sam. He is so far from human, but cares for them as though they are his real family. It's like what Bobby said about blood and family. If they write him off the show it will break my heart.
i dont think Cas is gonna die in this ep, if he happens to die, its gonna be during the finale, cause in the last ep he has a fight with Raphael, so.. :S and no, he wud never let anyone kill Sam and Dean.. never.. these 3 have been through too much together.. and btw, i LOVE how Cas' character is becoming more and more complicated :)
I hope everyone understand what i am trying to say... It is very difficult to write in a language when it isn´t your first language...I have nothings against more Castiel in Season 7. If the main focus is Sam and Dean... Two Brothers and YES with a heavently friend.... who will appear from time to time....
@gritttti We understand, but the thing is Sam and Dean ARE the focus, yet that doesn't mean characters around them should just be two-dimensional beings, even supporting characters should be allowed their own stories to make their characters stronger and that in turn makes them even better foils against Sam and Dean. And really, Cas hardly takes up that much time as people seem to think, he only shows up most of the time in about 5 minutes of the show.

@christinekuli7 Plenty of friends who work in TV that tells me this. They may call Misha a "series regular" but he's not a true regular as he's not credited in every episode. No different than recurring star really, the only difference is he is paid for the full season, and not by per-episode. His episode counts are no higher as series regular than when he was recurring either. 12 in S4, 14 in S5, and ending with 12 this season. Cast/crew may love him, but for the network, it's just business.

also another thing...yes Cas grew on all of us...but i would like to point out hes NOT a Winchester. He is a friend to them but he is not family to them considering he has back-stabbed us in season 4. but it will hurt if he turns on them im not saying that it wont but i would like to point out that the show is Dean & Sam not Cas.

@lrx001 You're gonna just hammer that one moment? He's more than paid for that one mistake, hell he got blown up for deciding to rectify that mistake and go rebel all of heaven for Dean. If you're gonna forgive Sam for all the back-stabbing he was doing, Cas deserves the same. Cas turned on his own people, his home, for humanity, that's more than paid the debt. And Cas is family, Ben Edlund states that in his interview that Cas is family to the Winchesters.

I doubt they're going to get rid of Cas. They've developed his character so much, and they only take the time develop characters this in depth when they're planning on keeping the character. Cas has become one of the family, and I can't really see him leaving the show. Supernatural without Cas just isn't Supernatural. Of course, the show is about the 2 boys, but at this point, the story line has become so much more in depth, and Cas has definitely become a major character.

Sorry I have to say this I don't think Cas will survive next season the previous episode showed how weak he was after being stabbed by the knife if this does happen again I don't think he'll make it he has been pretty weak this season compared to the other 2

I really don't understand people who say they won't watch the show anymore if Cas dies, that means you're not really a fan because Sam and Dean are the show ! And even though I love the guests and think they are essential to make this work, the only reason I'd stop watching is if Sam and/or Dean died permanently which, hopefully will never happen.

I believe that Cas is now integral to Supernatural. Although the show started out as a tale of two brothers, who is to say it can't develop and change? Like the Winchesters, Cas is a fascinating character. I've always found him incredibly interesting - especially his relationship with Dean and Sam. He is so far from human, but cares for them as though they are his real family. It's like what Bobby said about blood and family. If they write him off the show it will break my heart.

I hope everyone understand what i am trying to say... It is very difficult to write in a language when it isn´t your first language...I have nothings against more Castiel in Season 7. If the main focus is Sam and Dean... Two Brothers and YES with a heavently friend.... who will appear from time to time....

@gritttti We understand, but the thing is Sam and Dean ARE the focus, yet that doesn't mean characters around them should just be two-dimensional beings, even supporting characters should be allowed their own stories to make their characters stronger and that in turn makes them even better foils against Sam and Dean. And really, Cas hardly takes up that much time as people seem to think, he only shows up most of the time in about 5 minutes of the show.

Taking away a strong supporting character like Cas to many people makes the show weaker, and they feel like the show will not be strong without the character and honestly, there is only so many times you can watch just Sam and Dean angst over and over again doing the same old thing before it becomes boring. Cas brings something different and new.

You say Sam/Dean/Bobby are family and Cas is just a friend, but many would say that Sam/Dean/Bobby/Cas is a family. Family isn't just blood, and Cas has already become a part of that family, as much as Bobby is.

@christinekuli7 There is no way that an actor change will be accepted by the fandom. Misha IS Castiel. If Cas dies and Misha is gone, then more than likely the character will remain dead. The showrunners know enough of how the fandom will react if they bring Cas back with a different actor.

It's a dumb thing for the show-producers to do, seing as they will lose alot of viewers and fans. I'm still mad about the way the made Misha a regular alongside J2, and he's only on the show like 5 minutes per episode.

@christinekuli7 When he was guest star, there was always a chance that Misha could just leave the show if he gets a better offer from another show, and when the producers saw how popular he was, they gave him a contract so to make sure he would stay on and no other can steal him away. This is purely for business purposes so they don't lose him and the popularity and fans he brought to the show, they never really meant for Cas to be as important as Sam and Dean.

@christinekuli7 Plenty of friends who work in TV that tells me this. They may call Misha a "series regular" but he's not a true regular as he's not credited in every episode. No different than recurring star really, the only difference is he is paid for the full season, and not by per-episode. His episode counts are no higher as series regular than when he was recurring either. 12 in S4, 14 in S5, and ending with 12 this season. Cast/crew may love him, but for the network, it's just business.

I never said my friends have "inside" info, it's simply how normal contracts are done in TV. I never forced my view, you can believe what you want. I never said I have a right to decide to who is true regular, I'm only saying what I see, series regulars get credited every episode, Misha doesn't despite his contract.

@christinekuli7 I have said many times before, I am not diminishing Misha's importance, I put him before the boys so don't go accusing me of just loving Sam and Dean, I never cared much about the show before Cas/Misha came on, he was the one that got me hooked. I say only what I hear from the showrunners who stated the show is Sam and Dean, called Cas and Bobby as supporting cast. I'm a Misha/Cas fan first, for all I care, Sam/Dean could die and I wouldn't be upset as long as Cas lives, to me, he IS more important. But the reality simply is that this show revolves around Sam/Dean, the writers state that in many interviews/panels, other characters are important in supporting roles. I want this to be the Cas/Dean/Sam show, but Cas always gets shafted in favor of the boys.
