There is a university in the United Kingdom called the University of Dundee. It's in Scotland. I would very strongly urge Chinese students who're thinking of coming to the UK to undertake undergrad or postgraduate studies to NOT enrol at the University of Dundee. Many Chinese students at this university have been racially abused (either verbally, and in some cases physically.) Some lecturers at this university are very racist towards Chinese students and the city of Dundee is also VERY racist.
there are no graduation hats in glasgow uni :P its just a different graduation system... harry potter like, as theres only one hat used for all students :P
@nypdhotmail it's amazing. lots of history, great social life, and the west end of glasgow is just magic. lots of shops and cafes and tons of parks. having gone and done a masters with the LSE in london, i can honestly say that the teaching at Glasgow was much, much better.

Only few universities in Scotland do have hats. You can buy it if you want, but most people do not.
