@ castlehilldude.. I can say from experience in seeing both Mettalica and Godsmack doing both respective drum duels.. I love both bands and see them whenever I can but usually never miss a tour.. Godsmack got their idea to do this duel from Mettalica doing theirs.. Live, the vids don't do either duel justice.

These clowns are pathetic. For a really good drum duo, in this style of music, check out the Godsmack video on You tube. That group's drummers are far more musical and far more skilled in their playing. This is 5:38 minutes of my life that I will never get back.

The same could be said for the Foo Fighters and Taylor and Dave. Lars had his day in the 80's as one of the best and most infamous drummers in the world, but 20 years later, his hands and feet don't work quite as fast as they used to.
