I wonder what they'd sound like using Enya's technique of voice layering (overdubbing). Even though it can be synthesized, I love the effects of multi-layering your own voice. There can be no closer match than doubling your own voice for harmonic characteristics. Of course that is more on the modern not strict classical approach which they might shun.
Well, that's the first time I heard Lisa Lambe. Sounded great. I still like the PBS special "Songs from the heart" at Powerscourt best though, with all the beautiful gardens, full orchestra and choirs, four singers instead of 3, excellent lighting etc. That was a great special. This also looks excellent, but, I was wondering if they have a fourth singer available. To me it really helps the fullness of the harmony.

My impression is that it's Chloë. Could be wrong, but if you listen to Lisa Lambe's solo: 'A Spaceman Came Travelling' and compare it to this are those high notes definately from Chloë. They sounds very sharpe, and Lisa's voice is much softer.

Lisa Lambe's voice sounds decent, but remember that christmas songs are the trademark of the super soprano Meav. No one can imitate her bell-like Ding..dong... in Carol of the bells. What a pinnacle of voice! At first I was confused it was a REAL bell that rang.

@san18ful...The picture on my channel is from the night of this performance. Lisa has had 2 children since we started in 2004. At our very first performance at the Helix Centre she has just given birth 4 weeks before. She was really worried about how she would look, but as usual she was gorgeous. She was pregnant during the last part of the 2008 tour, but as far as I know there aren't any pictures out there floating around...

WOW!!!! Lisa L fits right in!! Her voice is just as beautiful as Lisa K's and Chloë's!!!!!! I absolutely love the closeups of Chloë from 1:23 to 1:28!!! I had to rewind it and watch that part again :) Took my breath away!!
