I don't believe that God hates our 'lite-ness' if anything He made us to laugh. Have you ever just sat and watched children play? They come up with whole places in their minds and crazy creatures. Children are some of the goofiest people I know. We are also to have child-like faith. God has a sense of humor, just look around you. The world is full of nonsensical things and they were all made perfect by God.

you're taking that verse out of context and they aren't really saying saying/doing any of that. And if you ask the band members they're probably thanking God for giving them the opportunity to praise and worship Him throughout the years. And where in the bible does it say that Christians can't be goofy? That just takes away all of my personality. God blessed me with the gift of goofiness. It has brought great fellowship.
