How do you keep the wing from touching the water? I know ground effect maintains level flight, but how does it turn? It seems that a heavy hand could make the wing contact the surface.
but USA not geniuz this people must have a authorization you must help them for our future generation he just developed a new flying craft you must help this guy to make it better !!!
that's so efficient and safe in what i saw
but if you improved this tech this is so much cool make car like this is that cool ?
@gorillagirlgorilla yes they did :) it is called kateroplan or somthing like tha,t i don't know how to spell it but it is russian. so these arn't called hoverwings, but kateroplans :)
over 10 ft its a plane...max of 50? hehe, isnt it tempting to buy one and say 'im using it as boat and only will fly up to 6ft' and then just for a few mintues, break the law and launch it up high :D
1:20 The test pilot "felt a little bit nervous" about the test - enough to wear what appears to be a bulletproof vest, but apparently decided _against_ wearing a helmet. Hmmm.
@UniversalHovercraft G'day... Nice clip. Great machine! Ground-Effect is the Low-Speed Aerodynamicist's Get-Out-Of-Jail-Free Card.
I wanted to streamline a Solar Panel, for 100 Km/Hr, for Automotive use. Went to ramscoop-ventilated Faceted-Aerofoil at 50mm above roof. Realised 26:1 L/D at that alt., & downwash positon cuts vehicle Hiway drag 4%. Yay team! Search 'solar thermal ramjet', or 'sunfoil' to see the results. "SunFoil Science" may be best value. Open source. Enjoy. Ciao !
They talked about what makes it work for a good chunk of the video. Driving (or flying, as the case may be) it off a cliff wouldn't be smart, The only reason it stays in the air is because it's so close to the ground/water...
Energy sources without the need for fuel or energy input exist ,But some very powerfull ppl don't want you and me to be free from energy costs,Get a motor that needs no gas or electric input at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Join the energy revolution!
@Crashmagproductions1 on their website.. which is why I'm here looking for this vid. they're not een that expensive, dunno bout that particular one, but the basic one is about 18 grand if I remember correctly. Can you guys tell me if you ship abroad (Austria) and if so how much would that cost (incl. the 19XRW)

Put a gyrocopter rotor on the top!

Soo, why aren't we flying these to school and work yet?
If they say it only needs 18 hp, it'll most probably even be cheaper on gas than a traditional car.

Its actually a 110 hp engine in this particular model. Lift fan absorbs about 18 hp at full power.
