I still have great respect for the men of the cloth, I'm a Christian, and I go to church every sunday, and midnight mass every christmas eve, and I believe that our father in heaven was watching over this pastor.
Your future is NOT going to be sealed in Hell if you do your best and God knows you did.
According to Baptist belief, there's only supposed to be one thing that can seal your fate in Hell, and that's living a life without Christ in your heart.
I was only Baptist for 7 years, I was Catholic before that and nondenominational afterward.
Now IDK WHAT I am, but I'm positive God knows when you do your best.
@vickiormindyb I did nothing wrong and I believe in being kind to people and helping make the world a better place for everyone but im going to hell by choice.
@vickiormindyb I believe in helping others, and being kind to people and working to make the world a better place, but im going to hell by choice. See you there.

@pug6666 I wouldn't talk too much about grammar, your statement should have been "BASCKIT13 gets* the episode titles wrong,* even if he knows* it is wrong. seriously don't complain when you can't speak or write properly yourself.
The impression I got from Dale's interview was that he hesitated to shoot the burglar, at which point the burglar took advantage of the opportunity to grab the gun and shoot him. They never clearly state the details of the shooting, though.
@allgood2000 My friend, Greg, said that's how most gun owners get shot on a call where a gun's involved.
These people have no understanding of how a criminal mind works. A criminal won't hesitate to shoot a person, won't wonder whether it's right or wrong or consider whether they'll like or dislike doing it.
That's why he insists, that anybody who thinks it's easy to shoot another person, better be damn sure they can do it w/out thinking.
If not they're just going to end up injured or dead.

Well, I'm glad the reverend survived. Seriously though. If you pull up to your house and see signs of a break in, DON'T GO IN. CALL THE POLICE

Forgive and forget, this Man practices what he preaches.
Requesting only 5 years probation as opposed to a prison term for the Man who very nearly killed him proves it beyond question.

Obviously the pastor would be grateful to God for surviving, but he didn't mention being grateful to the doctors and emergency people too.

@phoenixfriend Yeah, that's kind of ignorant not to do that.

What a dumb pastor. He asks for leniency for the gunman. I wonder who else that gunman will shoot because of the pastors bleeding heart.

It's a documentary segment shot in Florida. Paramedics treat a beagle hit by a motorcycle, and later treat a man who was in a motorcycle accident.
allgood2000 2 years ago
I have that segment on tape from a 30 minute syndicated episode.

Work with this crap every day and see how willing you are to forgive them.
I've been dealing with it every day, all day, for the last two months-and I've totally run out of patience.

"Are we willing to forgive people when they have done wrong"
I wonder if Rev Osmond was reffering to the burglar who shot him when he said that.
happy7117 2 years ago
Yes he was
mrtelevision 2 years ago
If he was shot by his own gun, does that mean he shot himself or the burglar managed to get it and then shot him?
Muggle423 2 years ago
The burglar took the gun and shot him.

It just goes to show: "If you own a gun, you must not be afraid to use it."
