I wanted to be just like you..."

  • can someone explain to me why he took off his armor?

  • Lest not be disheartened, the battle is at its height, but let us all show he Japanese our might

  • you know during the Imjin War...several Korean generals preferred the Katana over their swords since it was a more effective weapon. It is like how American soldiers in WWII preferred the Mp40 over the Thompson...

  • @mrsamshin and also AK-47 during the vietnam war

  • korea win and japan GG

  • Wtf i thought i thought....................... that the koreans swords were the best Japenese u guys just use strength but we use intelligence

  • jap people have conventions in the bathroom at my school. it's really gay.

  • 열등한 짱꺠의 역사

    짱꺠=노예민족 가치없는 쓰레기 열등민족

    짱깨=세계의 창녀 불법체류수출국

  • chink army is coward,

chink army never win japaness on the battle.

    it is proof china history.

chiness was slave by another people

  • Yes, and only Japan attacked China when it was weak and plunged into internal Chaos. Did they EVER attacked the Tang Dynasty, wich was the height of Chinese civilization? No, instead Japanese culture and architecture had alot of influence of Chinese culture and architecture. I don't hate Japan or Korea, but guys like you really piss me off.

  • Actually Japan and China did cross swords in the Tang Dynasty. The Battle of Baekgang, which the Japanese suffered a humiliating defeat.

  • chink defeat jap in tang and ming dynasty, jap is slave of china for 2000 year

  • 明军才是主力,李舜臣没起多达作用

  • Yi Sun Shin perhaps the greatest hero ever lived~

  • @Isaacyoun - I guess none of you guys know about Barbaros Hayrettin Pasa ( HIZIR REIS)In February 1538, Pope Paul III succeeded in assembling a Holy League (composed of the Papacy, Spain, the Holy Roman Empire, the Republic of Venice and the Maltese Knights) against the Ottomans, but Barbarossa defeated its combined fleet, commanded by Andrea Doria, at the Battle of Preveza in September 1538. This victory secured Turkish dominance over the Mediterranean for the next 33 years.

  • @TheAcutron we don't talk about that battle on account of our bigotry against the successes of muslims.

  • I don't think even Hannibal was this heroic.

  • Both Hannibal and Yi was heroic in their own ways. Hannibal braved the alps, Yi got killed, a general getting killed means he was brave enough to go on the first line.

  • i like Yi soon shin and him. great hero since im korean.

  • 0:47 Ouch!

  • It is not Yi, and it is a Lee mouth. Lee Soon-Shin

  • actually, it's neither. The proper pronounciation is 'ee,' therefore Ee Soon Shin. The reason ee is romanized as Yee or Lee, is to make it easier for European language speakers.

  • way to take him down with him at 1:48ish!

  • He's a master in naval warware.

  • And so died Admiral Yi Soon Shin, the greatest admiral the world has ever known. He died a upright servant of his country, never giving thought to his own desires but always faithfully serving his country to the very end.

One of my favorite quotes, "The battle is at its height; do not announce my death."

Even to his death, he was ever caring of his country which he gave up his life in defense of.

A truly great and heroic man, unrivaled by any who commanded the seas.

  • i hear the britsih navy studies YSS's tactics and all LOL

  • great hero!

another Chinese Navy Marsha fight to death in this battle, his name is 邓子龙!He died when tying to re-inforce 李舜臣

  • He's not chinese.....He's Korean

  • Deng is Chinese, who is leading Ming Fleet. Both Deng and Yi sacrificed their lives to win the battle.Sorry about the mistake because I refer to the book found it was Yi that came to rescue Deng when his battleship is trapped by Japanese, at that time Deng is wounded to death. Unfortunately Yi is also wounded thereafter and died. Awesome heros!

  • writed? It's kind of hypocritical to call someone stupid, and say "writed". But then again, I shouldn't be so surprised. By the looks of it, you couldn't even 'readed' what the other two were saying. You were just being a dumbass sourpuss bitch.

  • uhhh...how come you call a race stupid when there is stupidity in every society. Obviously you proof that there are individuals like you that are stupid. Bravo!

  • Sorry then terrorist, go bomb a fucking barracks

  • stupid chink. it's wrote not writed you stupid mother fucker. it's history not histroy. also you don't read history. you read history texts. stupid motherfucker don't even know how to write with correct grammar

  • Admiral Yi Soon-Shin is the best ever known in Korea history.

    Thanks for uploading!!!

  • Admiral Yi and Lord Nelson are considered as the greatest admirals in the history of the world.

  • i would say admiral yi and genhis khan

  • @Rok0705 Yi is greater. Genghis Khan invaded other people's countries , but Yi defended his own.
