thats my baby, 5344 has a cool history to it. it was the first J1e, to have a streamline shroud. and it had two, the commodore vanderbuilt. and the dreyfuss, and a group of workers wanted to save 5344 from being cut up for scrap, but pearlman, who was a mean SOB. wanted $10,000. for it. sadly the group only came up with $7,000. and 5344 was cut up, later on in 1958. she was close to being saved
