goddam. I remember watching this shit with my old man back in the day when i was a kid on adult swim, back to back with yu yu hakusho. this was an awesome show, and man does this being back some memories. this was the show that turned me into a japanime fan.

@TheTrueMetal9 All of the stuff by the Seatbelts is pretty sweet. For some awesome energetic big band, I'd recommend Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Benny Goodman has some awesome music with his song Sing Sing Sing. Composer George Gershwin has some very jazzy orchestral music with Rhapsody in Blue and An American in Paris.

I love this anime, glad ADULT SWIM decided to put it back on the air...it took me forever to realize that they were on MARS, and not EARTH...the reason was because a meteor struck EARTH, flooding it completly...I think... *Whirr*

Kinda. There was an accident with the gate near Earth that destroyed the moon. Faye was involved and that's why she has no memory. Now chunks of them moon rain down and cause constant major meteor showers which damage the surface and change the topography constantly. Because of this, Earth property is really cheap and it's sparsely populated.

I find myself looking over my cherished shows of the 90's, and there really is a lot of truth to what you said - They are MUCH deeper in terms of subject matter.

Courage the Cowardly Dog for example: You could NEVER get away with showing that to kids nowadays. The mixture of pedophilia/psychopathic themes that are forced down your throat in the Freaky Fred episode alone, is proof that shows from the 90's made youths think on a whole new level.

i think you might want to take another stab at south park. it's episodes typically deal in satire on current events and social issues considering the human condition. and yes they say fuck a lot. but it's kind of their own inside joke that people are more likely to focus on that and discard any possible message before paying attention to the messages in each episode. but ye family guy is juvenile.
