@SouthTxHogHunters LOL, notta, I wont sell it. Im just getting to know the AR, about the time I use this AR on a group of hogs, I'll swap back to the Howa. I like accuracy, this AR just doesnt do it for the long distance without a scope.

Nah, we use cracked corn and molasses as well as pine tar to attract the pigs here but then we either lay in wait in the scrub or chase them on foot/four wheeler. I guess I enjoy the stalk and the spoils more than the shot but I would rather walk about all day tracking sign than sit in a chair and wait! @spooler79 so sitting on a truck in plain view of the hogs would be a bot harder than hiding in the srcub... Joking... I do prefer to stalk and walk around. BUT alot of places i hunt are only 10 acres, so walking is out. You just spoook em off. What I do that I consider hunting is haveing the patience to sit for 6-12 hours in th edark, waiting for a hog to show. Thats a trial.. let me tell you. You may sit for 30 hours before one shows. Theres many ways of hunting... I enjoy them all.

Try getting on your hands and knees on Texas with the stickers and thorns. Theres a reason baiting is allowed. AND if you watched more, you would know this isnt the way I hunt all the time.

What kind of ammo do you hunt with in your AR? its hard to find a good mushrooming ammo for AR's.

@TexasWhitetails1 Mine doesnt mushroom. It explodes, evaporates... disinagrates... just the part in the shell survives to tumble thru the hog. I use Federal Premium VShock. 55grain, Hollow Points. Its a Game Seeking BTHP Bullet... for gophers!!! Box Says... Designed for immediate expansion with instant energy transfer. Suitable for coyotes, fox, prairie dog, wood chuck and other SMALL varmints/predators..... SO, that means I shouldn't use it for hogs.... BUT they work great!

I changed the image a bit on the red screen so Y'all could see better. Tube looses alot when they upload. I have 2 reds and a green. I like the red best.

@Chriznak I dont think so, what trash? the gut pile? coyotes and vultures clean all that up. I pick up stuff I see as I walk. Leave it better than You find it. But this is a working ranch, so theres plenty laying around.

They are so easy to customize for any kind of hunting. Buy one good rifle that lasts a lifetime. Kind of hard to customize an old Savage like that. Thanks again for another great video.
