  • i wish they would put street fighter ll turbo hyper fighting on psn.

  • You did also miss the Street Fighter II on the Game Boy/Super Game Boy. I think it's closer to the NES version tho. Only 2 buttons, punch & kick. Not too bad.

  • I'm as tall as Ryu.

  • I wonder if Ryu can still kick ass at 47 years old.

  • nothing compares to the SNES version

  • OK so we're clear on this the Street Fighter II Champion Edition Plus and Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting Turbo are both Japanese games.

  • whats the difference between the two arcade ones, the one that says:

    Street Fighter 2: Hyper FIghting

Street Fighter 2: Hyper FIghting Turbo

is the Street Fighter 2: Hyper FIghting the japanese one, cus i looked at bison is the the one with the hat in that one too so....

  • @Miles52431 Hyper Fighting Turbo is Japanese, when Bison is selected he's called Vega.

  • So.... Ryu's 47 years old.....?

  • WOAH!! i just noticed on the sega ver. of SF2 Plus the blonde guy looks absolutely different from the other version

  • notice the black guy gets knocked out by a white guy in front of a white only group of ppl? oh how we notice things when we get grown.......

  • 4:45 they got the names wrong its ryu vs vega not belrog hahah

  • @satan31337 actually Vega's original name was Balrog when it was released in Japan

  • 8:01 LOLL wtf is that shit!?

  • @Tampanda

I think it's the revolutionary cutting edge technology of GameBoy color

  • umm how did Guile just do a bicycle kick from a standin position?

  • @Tampanda ok, nevermind, it's the computer playing. The computer can do what it wants

  • thumbs up if you came from Super Meat Boy: Level Intros & References

  • Vega is Balrog, lol. Street Fighter 2 Turbo Hyper Fighting is one of the games i grew up with on the SNES

  • I always thought that was Joe vs Mike from SF on the SF 2 arcade intro lol..!

  • So much Nostalgia in one vid..

  • I honestly don't get the differences between the arcade versions of Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting and Street Fighter II Turbo Hyper Fighting considering both were just the same game. Not only the TG-16 version but you're missing the arcade version of SFII: Rainbow Edition and the SMS version of SFII Dash. Don't worry about the Game Boy version though as that game was a port of Super SF2 and not SF2 though it use the SF2 name.

  • @blueswan1984 I know I'm missing some intros from different versions but I'm going to keep it as it is. They're just various intros and IMO some intros in the video are the most common seen.

  • @blueswan1984 I think the difference between Hyper Fighting and Hyper Fighting Turbo is this:

Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting = (Japanese Version of Turbo)

Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting Turbo = (US and English Name)

I'm not 100% sure but I think that's the case

  • @Nubecuube It'sthe other way around actually. You would know this by seeing when M. Bison gets selected in the Turbo Hyper Fighting intro that he's name is Vega which is his Japanese name.

  • @blueswan1984 The Turbo Hyper Fighting game was the Japanese intro for Hyper Fighting. On the character select screen, you would notice that when M. Bison is selected, he is called Vega, his Japanese name. The Street Fighter II Dash Plus game isthe Japanese title for Special Champion Edition on the Mega Drive/Genesis.

  • 5:12 best intro ever

  • you forgot the Gameboy intro

  • Is that horrible 7:20 version from NES?

  • @artrocker65 In a way yeah but it's a pirate. In fact, what I know so far, it was played in Russia and maybe in China in a NES clone console probably around the 90's.

  • the sega genesis did so much better at porting the music n sound of the arcade version than the SNES.

  • @WuAgent That's because the Genesis' main sound chip (Yamaha YM2612) is quite similar to the one used by the CPS-1 (Yamaha YM2151). They're both FM synth chips, while the SNES music is sample based.

  • ryu's stage song is the epicest music ever :D

  • for me, the snes intro is the most nostalgic

  • You missed the C64 version. It was terrible. You only had 1 button :S

  • @GTAjedi Are you for real only one button? That's ridiculous. (Do a cheat code lol). I know I missed some intros but I did't have the ones I missed.

  • Missing PC Engine Street fighter II

  • Good!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @4:10- What's he running there, a good D cup or so? lol He needs a BRO, al a Seinfeld! XD

  • everytime i see it i LoL with that punch sound xd

  • I think it was odd for Guile to be played by Jean-Claude Van Damme when it really should have gone to someone like Dolph Lundgren, IMO. Ya know, someone who is a natural blonde and a lil taller.

  • @WentMillerGal15

Well you know, if they made a proper Street Fighter movie(like 1995's Mortal Kombat was), Ryu would be the lead character.

  • SOOOOONIC BOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The NES version looked ok.

  • I bought SFII Turbo for the SNES at K-Mart when it first came out in Australia. It cost $125. I can still justify the price to this day. :)

  • the genesis intro is all the way better then the snes version wich is really really a big shame!!!!!!!

  • is this Game already 20 Years Old? man time flies.

  • Anyone else notice how crappy the Genesis version sounded and looked?

  • wonderfull :)

  • 7:20 :O! is the best version of street fighter ;O! I like the intro... I got this in my family lol.... I still play it couple months ago :D

  • @eravsito Haha, how did you even get that? It was an unlicensed game.

  • Street Fighter II Turbo....Hell yes, I finally picked it up!

What? Super Street Fighter II Turbo came out...ok I'll get that one now.

    *Picks it up

    Yes!! Got it

*See's commercial on TV....Super Duper Street Fighter II Turbo Extra Plus Champion Spend Your Money On This One Now Edition!!!??

    (Sigh) Aw Fuck it....

  • LOL Brings me back to snes, but does anyone think that guile looks wasted ass hell....and slot smokin joint

  • @BigH22002 Well, after all, he is in the milliatry!

  • wtf at 7:27 it says "The Horld Harrior" lol XD

  • Why does it say Vega's name is "BALROG" at the 4:50 clip?

  • @marmar3291 LOOKS LIKE IT'S TIME TO EXPLAIN IT AGAIN

    Dictator - M.Bison (US/EU), Vega (JP)

Spaniard - Vega (US/EU), Balrog (JP)

    Boxer: - Balrog (US/EU), M.Bison (JP)

  • Back when game developers cared and listened to the complaints of players/ weren't oblivious to the problems in their games.

  • I love how guile does walking flash kicks in the intro. Fucking hax!

  • The game that changed my life.

  • lol i love theese soo many memories

  • Poor BLack Guy, Doesnt He Know By Now He Cant Fight.

  • Look at guiles Face at 3:19 of the character select screen

  • man these games sure do take me back to the good ol days of Snes playing and also the baling sound from capcom

  • 7:20 Holy Shit Double Paddle Music

  • The SNES version of the SF2 was $69 when it first came out.

  • In other words, there was only like 100 or so versions of SF2, ok, I get it already hehe.

  • obviously NES was the best version

  • @lpoursoi

    This version rocks!

  • @lpoursoi LOLYOUKEN

  • @lpoursoi nothing came close to the arcade version, but i agree the snes was the best console version

  • LOL XD mini zangief @ 8:00

  • lol what the hell game system was @ 3:00 "st II' Turbo"?

  • @XiaochiCat

That would be the beta of the Sega Genesis version. I've heard it said that Japanese players sometimes call Street Fighter "ST". Here in the states, we use that to denote Super Street Fighter II Turbo ("Super Turbo"). Don't know if it has any bearing on that title screen, but there you go.

  • Ryu was born in 1964...so he's 46 in SSF4?

  • @NERDstarXD No, SF 4 is set between SFII and SF III, SF 4 takes place several months after SF II. Japanese people like to explain what happened when there are plot holes, but instead of a different title they choose to add the very next number, like in this, maybe street fighter 5 will be set after SF III, or maybe after SF 4 and SF III, only capcomproducers know that.

  • I like how on the NES version, the guy with the chicken in the background is taller than the fighters!

I also forgot how bad the sound was on the Mega Drive version!

  • SF2Turbo: Waiting Capcom logo... Down, R, Up, L, Y, B, X, A

    Nostalgic :D

  • I remember this, I always wanted the man on the left to win but he never did, shame really

  • i love to play this street fighter 2 games i like the player balrog

  • WTF???

He didn't charge to do the flash kick

    The CPU is weird :|

  • @kazhwaqaz

The CPU can do it whenever they want :\

  • damn its almost been 20 years now! feels like yesterday. times passes fast

  • I miss the sound bites when Ken and Ryu were soooo passionate and angry yelling their moves. They sounded like Rand B singers when they said Hadouken.lol

  • Haha good old racist lil intro ^_^

  • Street Fighter 2 Turbo on SNES is where its at

  • Correct Order in cronology of SFII: SFII World Warrior (Arcade); SFII World Warrior (SNES); SFII' Champion Endition (Arcade); SFII' Plus (or Special) Champion Endition (Genesis); SFII Champion Endition (SNES); SFII' Hyper Fighting (Arcade); SFII' Turbo - Hyper Fighting (Arcade); SFII Turbo - Hyper Fighting (SNES); SFII' (sigle) Turbo (Hack version for Genesis); SFII World Warrior (Hack version for NES); SFII (Master System, maybe only for Brazil)

  • After so many version takes, the black guy says "I QUIT!!!" hahaha

  • I always hatet the way they inverted the bosses names: Bison became Vega, Vega became Balrog and Balrog became Bison... It sucks!

  • Genesis version is the best!

  • i loved the music!!!! i didnt have it on snes, but when special champion edition came out for sega, str8 arthiritis!!!

  • Oh yeah! This takes me back to my childhood, I kinda miss the old Street Fighter font, when the Ts in Street were join together.......

  • You know what? after all those openings the black guy should of been able to see that punch coming a mile away

  • @FuccThatShitNigga yea but u know how they do poor guy i know he wanted to give him a beating of his life after all those punches on each upcomeing arcade systems lol

  • @FuccThatShitNigga LMAO!!!

  • @FuccThatShitNigga ahahahahahhaha

  • guile hax 0:47

  • i remember watching these demos as a teenager at a local arcade while watching people play and waiting for my turn. sf2 was an incredibly HOT arcade game. you would have had to have been there to understand. and yes console ports are crap. the arcade sprites, animation, color, and fluidness in gameplay is far superior

  • @scir91 Its a shame people nowadays won't ever get to experience what you're talking about. Things like that will probably never happen again since arcades are dead now. That feeling people got waiting at the arcade and watching the fights while others are cheering on are things of the past now (except for a few arcades still around, though it isn't the same anymore.)

  • @Akujitsu I know what you mean. I remember those sweaty summers on holiday playing this game and other arcade games. Its just not the same anymore.

Wish I could go back to those early 90s :(

  • @JuiKuen Sometimes I leave my modded PSP on with my CPS arcade emulator and leave a random Capcom fighting game like SF2 on and running on my desk, just for the nostalgia used to feel walking around an arcade and watching a match while an arcade cabinet next to me is cycling through the demo. >_> I really do miss those days haha

  • @Akujitsu and how doesnt? :D

i still ask myself why arcades doesnt exist on my city anymore

  • @Akujitsu

I have a arcade cabinet with a sf II pcb plugged in ... :) i know your feel ... :D

  • Hmmm... Gen, Genesis. Change stance, change ABC from punch to kick with the start button.

I see some twisted inspiration here.

  • the first sega version at 3:15...... which console is that?

  • @creeball

    Genesis.

  • @creeball megadrive a think

  • Wow. The arcade version of SF2 is much more beautiful than the console ports :)

  • @sayhellorosco Indeed, big reason why I didn't really like playing the SF2 games on consoles until the PlayStation and Saturn came along.

  • serdar_34 selamlar çocukluğumdan buyana oynarım halen bıkmadım bütün serileri hiç kaçırmam hepside harika CAPCOM

  • I Would Take Street Fighter 2 THE HORLD HARRIOR Over Super Street Fighter 4 Anyday!!!

  • on the street fighter II plus intro it says the name balrog when its vega

  • @YAAAAmedia It's because it's the Japanese version. Vega (the Spanish Ninja) is Balrog. M. Bison (the Dicatator) is Vega and Balrog (the Boxer) is Mike Bison. The reason for the name swirching is because Capcom U.S.A. feared a lawsuit (and an ear bite) from Mike Tyson. Yes Balrog/M.BIson is a parody of Iron Mike Tyson.

  • The NES version made me LOL

  • I used to go to the local convenience store in my neighborhood and pay 25 cents to play. I always used Ryu. It was my favorite game ever.

  • Anyone else think there's something awkward about putting "Winners Don't Use Drugs" after "Hyper Fighting"? (Intro beginning at 6:10 )

P.S. lol, the Yoko NES pirate is "The Horld Harrior"

  • Ah, memories.

  • Lawrence arrives in a foggy. I found this movie at Movie WATCHER . US

  • why does the black guy have to be knocked senseless. LOL

  • if only SSF4 reference it in thier intro.

  • because it's a racist game.

  • no it's not RE5 IS RACIST!!

  • @MaverickX3000 . But you can't compare SF2 with RE5. SF2 intro is based on racism.

  • @FoxHound212 Complete bullshit that you and other people complain about the "poor black guy" losing or being knocked out. It's called diversity in the game.

  • Great video ..... no sign of the Amiga, MS-DOS PC or Atari ST versions though :(

  • if i remember correctly, street fighter 2 turbo on the SNES was the first street fighter game that i ever played. brings back the old school moments. now im here playing SF4

  • @IRazorIBack I played SF 2 turbo for SNES as well. I was always scared of blanka and the faces of the people you beat up when you win the match.

O yea I sucked at the game and could never beat it and would always get pissed at it. 1 time I got so pissed I literally beat it up and hid it from my self. But I knew where I put it cause I hid it. I was weird I know. I hid it underneith my parents bed by her shoes lmao.

  • Does anyone notice the name typo for vega r was his name supposed to be balrog?

  • basically in japan their names are switched. to avoid confusion, people usually refer to those characters as boxer, claw and dictator. vega(claw) is known as balrog in japan, balrog(boxer) is bison and bison(dictator) is vega

  • ooooooooooh my god, my eyes cry. iM REM THESE IN MY DAYS. THANKS

  • I forgot how fucking stoned Guile looked in the original SF2 character select screen.

  • Good gear IbukiSF3

street fighter 2 world warrior ARCADE (score 2,438,200) 1 credit complete

You will like the replay that is on my account,it's from a japanese score site, shows some real mastery of the game, the player makes the rounds go up to 9/10 ,by using double K.O 's!

    watch after watching IbukiSF3's

  • Is anyone else somehow reminded of Rayman by Guile's original SF2 Arcade mugshot?

  • Now that you mention it...

  • @strykah92 HAHAHAH i concur...

  • lol guiles satage had cool music

  • The creator of this video forgot New Challengers. But this is still a very cool video.

  • I always hated the remixed versions of some of the tunes on the SNES version, especially the intro.

  • damn ryu is skinny lol

  • I had the "Gold Edition"...

  • @egalomon gold edition i never heared of that whats it's like

  • Mhm, the intros aren't the same, I think Gold Edition is a part from Super Street Fighter II..

  • What the fuck happened to Zangief!! Did he grow up with David the Gnome? 8:00

  • LMFAO ALSO at 6:11 you pause look at the background - the cheering crowd is mostly white. Minus 2 black dudes on the far right who are not too happy. FUCKIN RACIST HAHAHA

  • @v1ryus lmao, not racist. those are just the black fighters sidekicks.

  • lmfao one version of street fighter says ryu's 5 foot 7 next one he grew like 3 inches WTF?

  • hey this got 32 bit? yes thats for sure

  • i like the map where asia is in the middle. and the non-metric values are funny too. wonder why they made loads of different versions, all pretty much the same

  • as you said there are Famicom versions anybody knows its whereabouts althogh every games back time had copies like paper boy and thousands else

  • They all had some slight revisions. The Championship editions made the boss characters playable. The Turbo editions let you adjust the game speed. The Super version added four extra characters, and the Super Turbo added Akuma. Each one would also fix certain glitches and exploits, and in some cases tune the music a bit.

  • 0:03 Guile wearing shorter hair the anotha Foreman

anotha`s written apropos so then do not call me third world

  • LMFAO! The first few seconds had me cracking up. If a video game intro these days had started like that, people would be crying "RACISM!!!!"

  • The black guy had a choice to fight. He did, and lost.

    Poor fellow.

  • @DalekSam when the ref said round one fight, the ref actually found a butt of a ciggy and said "Found One. GOT A LIGHT?!" so the white guy lost by default

  • @DalekSam I lost good money betting on the black guy.

    FFFFFFUUUUU

  • @DalekSam its funny its not just any white guy its white guy with blond hair and blue eyes

  • @drinkyman2007

    PROOF THAT CAPCOM HEILS GERMANY

  • *Thinks about it* ZOMG! I see how thats racist! I also see that it might offend some people. O.O

  • lol wtf... why the white dude beating a black dude... so weird..

  • wtf! in nes version chun li is bigger than zangief

  • 7:20-8:40, that is sad.

    D:

  • why they gota knock the black dude out tho?

  • @CousinSKeet15 what difference does it make who gets knocked out? Stop looking for stuff that isn't there.

  • lmfao, black dude don't always win the fight.

    Eat it !

  • hahahahahaha

  • just causality it could happend backwards

  • id have to say i always preferred Super Street Figter 2 for SNES

...that game was jam packed and addictive

  • ppl will argue all day about which version of SF2 is better, SNES or Megadrive(genesis). imo i prefer sega's version becos the gameplay is superior (faster), it has the arcade like intro, it has better music that sounds more upbeat and i also prefer the pad as im not ambidextrious. But lots of ppl do prefer SNES becos it was more popular back then, but at the time i prefered Sega's megadrive.

  • notice that in the first intros the guys (black dude and white dude) fighting arecharacters from the 1st street fighter

  • @dafreshboythemighty , only because one is black and the other white? they dont look like any of the SF1 characters,

  • 4:10

They really redesigned the white dude in the Genesis' Special Champion Edition. Wonder why they didn't keep this in the later releases...

  • 4:32

Ryu - 1,75 m and 68 Kg!! kkkk WTF? Would not be Dhalsim?

Ryu com 1,75 e 68 Kg! Eu com a mesma altura e sendo magro peso quase 20 Kg a mais que isso! kkkk

Não seria o Dhalsim na verdade?

  • @scorpion81 yes you are right

  • Street Fighter II - Special Champion Edition isn't on there? Unless that's Street Fighter II - Plus Champion Edition?!? That's the only intro that looks similar, or pretty much identical to me!

Street Fighter II - Special Champion Edition was the best ever version of the game I reckon!

It was perfect for the 6 button Megadrive / Genesis pad, plus the "Hyper" version was basically the same as "Turbo", where Ryu & Ken could do the 'upper air spinning kick' move!

Does anyone know of any others?
