  • I am a Lowcountry gullah girl, introduced to this style of singing by my friend Bill Cobb from Clover, SC. If I'm not mistaken this is the hymn choir from his home church (Flat Rock). That's Mr. Bobby.

    These songs resonate within me. I haven't heard any that I don't love. Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting these. I thank you, Lord!

  • Love this type of music. I used to attend an interacaial church in WV and this type of music we would sing. I LOVE IT ! In warmer weather I build a fire in the fire pit and listen to this music late into the night. The neighbors don't appreciate it but bless em anyway Lrd.

  • Being from Kentucky, I only hear these kind of songs when I get down to the Mt. Pleasant District, Howards Creek, & South District Annual Meetings during the summer. It reminds me of my Grandmomma, and her sister.
