I don't understand how the Mary in this show was kind to Anne of Cleaves eventually even though she was a lutheran, but then she wasn't to Catherine Parr who was a Protestant. Both women were not Catholic, but she was nicer to Anne and I saw in the later episodes of season 4 she was not to Catherine. I just always wondered that.
Anne of Cleves was like a new mother - not really but Anne of Cleves was a good friend with that she could talk. (as you see in season 4) and Chapuys was the father Henry was not. I like Anne and Chapuys very much as I like Mary.
that's sort of a okay deal. The only part i'd be bummed about, is that she has to stay in England in order to recieve the money for the rest of her life. That's gotta be lonely--- I mean she's German for God's sake!!
it's great how she got all those things from henry after the marriage was annulled, it's just a pity she wasn't able to afford such living after henry died.
I am glad they didn't turn Anne into an ugly girl she was said to be even though she compares quite favourably when comparing the paintings of Anne of Cleves and Jane Seymore. She was just different from the English roses. I can't wait to see her in season 4.

to the best of my knowledge, yes, Anne of Cleves was a sweetheart - and very intelligent and shrewd

seems the king wanted a hard rock girl who'd give him loads of attention and plenty of wild sex.

Wow......I really felt for poor AoC. She may have been deeply relieved inside, but it's still a bitch to get dumped.

She was smart. She kept the money and died in one piece.

I hope that sweet beautiful Joss Stone will get a possible Emmy nomination for Best guest actress in a TV series.

I second the motion. She can definitely act and you can feel the emotion emitting from her.
I thought, Anne of Cleves will not be so engaging to watch but I found myself anticipating what comes next.
