@themagicaltouch Actually electric and spring guns do use air to propel the BB. with spring guns whenever you pull back the bolt/lever it pulls back a piston that is being resisted by a spring. once you pull the trigger the piston flies forward because of the spring and it moves down a cylinder forcing air behind the BB. Electric guns operate in the same way but use a motor, battery, and gears.

the battery and spring powered airsoft guns dont actually use air to propell the BB, they use a pring and a little thing on the end of the spring that bunches the BB out... its the same in AEG guns (automatic electric guns), only there, a motor (powered by the batter) is used to bring the spring back...

A millisecond is 1/1000 of a second... Getting hit 10 times in a millisecond would mean you'd get hit 10000 times a second, meaning the gun would be shooting 600000 rounds a minute. The fastest I've ever seen an airsoft gun shoot was a Polar Star running 160 PSI at 35 rounds a second, not 10000 rounds a second... Just saying...
