Radiohead had the best muse but didn't want the radioplay, which Muse were sufficiently cool-headed players to get. As for Coldplay... well they're just shit, basically.
What do you base that on? Your own opinion? Or is there technical proof that Coldplay is a worse band? If people like a band's music, it's good to them. And I'm just saying people should stop comparing.

@whgphil That's not true. Firstly, Coldplay are bollox in comparison to the two other bands. Secondly, Muse have also evolved with each album. Just think about how different Showbiz is to Resistance. I think Muse have absolutely pushed out the boundaries of music, if Radiohead have.

What I love about Radiohead is that the majority of their songs sound different, they don't follow any similar pattern which is the disappointing thing about Muse's music, I do love Muse but whenever I realise that their music is all almost the same... it ruins it for me.

i'd say 1 song by coldplay sounds simliar to radiohead. The simliarity begins and ends there. Coldplay are good, but there is little to no variation iin their music. They made a career out of the sdame 3 chords. Radiohead try different struff and have a wider spectrum which is what makes them the better band, regardless of whos music you prefer.

If you cared that strongly about music, you would be studying classical pieces and getting turned on by mozart. @NJNetsFTW He didn't nearly die... They had paramedics on standby because of the insurance insisted on by the record company. It was done in the last take of the day - Thom was getting irritated with himself for not getting it done. He had total control, as if he pulled his arms down the water was released.. The commitment comes in actually trying to do it. Also the pain you can see in his face as he gets close to the end. The sneering triumph in his eyes after is superb!

@coldplay9982 Coldplay copy radiohead, and not well. Radiohead are better than coldplay for one simple reason, they hit home more, they are more deserving of the title " genius ". And they will be remembered long after coldplay will.

I heard this song off in the distance one day. I went to investigate and discovered there was someone sitting by a river, on a sunny afternoon, listening to OK computer. With retrospect I probably should've called the Samartitans.

@NJNetsFTW He didn't nearly die... They had paramedics on standby because of the insurance insisted on by the record company. It was done in the last take of the day - Thom was getting irritated with himself for not getting it done. He had total control, as if he pulled his arms down the water was released.. The commitment comes in actually trying to do it. Also the pain you can see in his face as he gets close to the end. The sneering triumph in his eyes after is superb!
