The one thing that really bothers me the most about these comments on either side of the fence is the lack of proper grammar and spelling ability. I have always contended that there is a huge difference between intellect and intelligence. Intellect being aptitude and book smarts and intelligence being wisdom and the ability to think with original thought. 84theking would be my "exhibit A". Well written but completely clueless.

Well, if you are lamenting how the the internet not only seems to encourage those who lack literacy skills to speak, but actually discourage literacy, you'll get no disagreement from me. How would I pay for all this, as I said a flat tax, lose all these jobs. No pet project but for Education. Get ride of the IRS and other federal employees not need, lets states do what they want gambling even, but take a small percentage. Maybe 3%. I would also kick out the UN because the US pays for everything, I would go on a national hunt for all illegals and deport them and throw the people in prison who hires them. I would build walls on both borders, let the Military use force.

Next thing to do is I would have not passed the stimulus, but lets say it passed any way. First of all lower business taxes and then the kicker.
I would have not given any money to the States or those pet projects. Let use Obama figures of being rich$250,000 which in some states is Middle class, but let do it. I would give every family below that limit a $5,000 energy voucher so they can buy the energy saving washers, driers, dsihwahers, toilets, solar siding and windows.

Sarah is criticized for her speeches & here's why I believe she is. Serious politicians want to be understood, to convey what they mean clearly. That is why they rely on advisers and speech writers, especially for important announcements. I think most of us from grade school on have done a run through to someone else of a speech we were going to give to an audience, this is smart. Sarah doesn't seem to take the time, either because of laziness or egotism, IMO. This makes her look unintelligent.

My problem is both parties can be civil to each other. I mean what the hell is everyone thinking about making some of the rude and sexist comments. Why do you attack the person instead of the issues. This country is close to a Civil War. Being in Law enforcement I can tell you guns and ammo is fly off shelves. Debate the issues, no personal attacks.

Why it is funnier to attack the idiots on the web who leave idiotic comments. Let the ammo fly off the shelves. afterall we do have the right to bear arms. If it scares you TOO BAD. If people did not have guns they can build bombs and other weapons just as easy. All it takes is a computer and a little time to download the directions. hehehehehehehehe
