  • Thank you beautiful! :D

  • Loved it thank u

  • this is so great :) but i'm ntot sure you are using the word 'consistency' right :S

  • I just got my vanilla pigment.. I'm so excited. I need this video so thank you very much!

  • I was looking for a tutorial JUST like this one - thanks for doing it. I'm sold! :)

  • Hey! Does this give you the same glow as mac's strobe cream / lotion does?

  • thank - you so much for making this vid! i just bought my first mac pigment today and it's in vanilla and this is extremely helpful!!!!!!! :)

  • your a guru of make up.... im loving ur vidzz.... awesome... :D

  • Love your videos so much information. I have a question would the Naked Pigment be a better alternative for someone with warmer skintones or would Vanilla work on everyone?

  • your face is so luminous! :)

  • If I have very oily skin, will it look nice using vanilla pigment and moisturizing? I want to buy that pigment so badly. Can I also use a sponge instead of nylon brush or foundation brush?

  • you could use ur hands if you wanted! well , fingers.

its not about application as much as it is the mixture.

  • your adorable !!!! im going to watch the rest of your videos

  • yeah i agree that the pigments got smaller.Thats what i think

  • what do the pigments got smaller means?

  • that there is less pigment in the packaging.

  • If you "pinch" the bridge of your nose lightly, where the pads of your fingers are is where you want to put the color. Vanilla Pigment is good for that. I also like MAC's Nylon eyeshadow... Basically anything light and shimmery will work... Just make sure you stick with warm tones... if you put a cool-toned beige (or whatever color) it will enhance any darkness you have around your eyes... hope that helps!

  • can u do a comparison on the vanilla pigment vs the nars copacabana multiple?

  • can i mix a little with my loose powder ?

  • is it me or did pigments get smaller?

  • what lip liner did you use??

  • what the hell is wrong with you, ATPADP?

  • You can rub it on your nails and then cover it with clear nail polish, too.

  • that's a really cool tip... I'm doing that tonight... thanks!

  • hi pursebuzz! you made vanilla pigment look so convincing! hehe. but i was wondering about the color. is it white with a gold shimmer in it, or does it appear completely white? because i have a makeup forever star powder in pearl gold and dont really like the gold shimmer in it.

  • Its a sheer pearl color if you dont go over board :)

  • i'm a NC37 skin tone, so would using mac vanilla pigment give my skin a dewy look? i guess what i'm asking is will it look as nice on my skin tone as it does on people with lighter skin tone?

  • I believe so. Just don't go over board :) It has a nice sheen to it :)

  • hi.. can i mix with foundation the vanilla pigment?

  • yeah u can i saw someone use it and it works better than the moisterizer!

  • ahahha wow i feel like such a dumbutt! thanks :D your sOOO pretty ..not fair!

  • if you use the tecnique with your mosturizer before your foundation+powder..will the foundation+powder cover it up? or will it still make up sparkle..

and the 187 brush what is its purpose.? i looked on the mac website and the tip is white instead of pink..is your 187 brush an older version?

    sorry so many questions!

  • LOL it's cause there is some blush on it. mix it with your foundation for optimum effect ;)

  • Thanks for the bronzer tips. I recently got a loose powder bronzer and it's really intense, so I was unsure of how to wear it on my fair skin tone. Thanks again. :)

  • where did u get the eucerin spf of 30 cause i can never find those in the store..thanks

  • i got mines at Duane Reade ^_^

  • can u do a tutorial for benefit's she laq?

  • oh it is.. wow great thx!

  • is that the 187 brush?

  • yes

  • Hey! Loooove your videos!

Was just wondering, I'm NC15 colouring, do you think I could use Frost pigment instead of vanilla? or would it be too shimmery?

    Thanks!

    x

  • This look is just perfect! Great job! You gave some great ideas on what to do with the vanilla:-)

  • now do u put it bd u put on powder or after or can u mix it in ur foundaition

  • this video makes me want to purchase vanilla pigment! Do you think it would look white on my NW40 skin? (I'm a filipina btw)

  • If you don't put a lot it will look luminescent. Tan pigment might work better for your skin tone . Go down there and check both out :)

  • how is it compared to the mcqueen mineralized finish in new vegas? thanks

  • i meant when used above the global glow?

  • I have a swatch on my site. Check it out under the swatch category :)

  • hi ya this is really great

  • hey

Try using a liquid concealer. Clinque has a nice one in a mascara like tube :)

  • thanx sweety

  • i love this video & you've just sold me on vanilla :) i plan on getting it when i go out for my mattene haul, thank you so much!

  • I am sure I am not the only one that wants to know...but how do you keep your skin so clear! I have very smooth skin, because I use alot of facal scrubs, but I break-out alittle bit, so I never have that Full clear look....Any tips? OH! You should do a video on it!

  • LOL.. my skin isn't clear :(

Especially not when school starts.. sigh...

What kind of scrubs do you use?

  • I use St. Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub. It's so good, I love it! I also use this facial tool my mother-in-law gave me, it has many different kinds of brushes for your face, to remove the dead skin. And for soap, I use Clean and Clear, and Dove moisturizer. lol I am a mess!

  • Can you do a hair tutorial with the style in this video? Thanks you.

  • i love how u give a nice glow not like some ppl it ends up looking like spots of sweat

  • You are way too educated when it comes to makeup.. I'm jealous, ;). Keep making these awesome videos, I love all of them!

  • Love love love your videos, but the camera is a bit blurry so it's hard to see!

  • I have more of a bronze, caramel complexion. i'm african american, so would the vanilla frost give me the same results or should i go for something like the copper sparkle, pink bronze, old gold, or other colors along that line?

  • Hi there

The vanilla pigment mix should be sheer, just to give you a light opalescence :)

  • What kind of eucerin do you use?I looked and could not find one with a SPF. Thanks

  • Hi pursebuzz im just wondering if u always blend your Vanilla pigment with your moisturizer? i mean like everyday?

  • No not every day. Just here and there.

  • you mentioned bare minerals.. have you used it? is it worth it?

  • You can use it. Just takes more time :)

  • i have oily skin...would this make my face shiny??

  • Illuminate :)

  • Is your mac vanilla the MAC VANILLA PIGMENT EYESHADOW warm cream white 7.5g?

  • No its a pigment in the Jar. Its a loose powder.

  • U R AWESOME!!!!!

  • yaerh i looove the vanilla pigment also... i ran out though and every time i go to our pro counter they are sold out thats a B**** :-(

  • Thnx :)

  • i love the vanilla pigment! it is the best

  • what would you suggest other than the vanilla pigment for a slightly darker complexion? Or would vanilla work on anyone, with the techniques you show here? I also wanted to know more about Benefit's High Beam compared to this...My skin isn't too dark, like a little darker than the average filipina. esp. during the summer! Thanks for all your great videos =)

  • This should work on anyone. You want to go for a sheer luminescence :)

  • Mac should pay you!

  • Hi, as always, great video!

Also, someone asked a question about makeup on yahoo answers, I gave her a link w/ one of ur videos, which I think would help her w/ her issue. Hope it's ok w/ u.

    Hope to see more videos!!!

  • thanks so much :) Of course its ok

  • Other than your site, do you have a job?

  • i'm sure she does...do you?

  • you always amaze me with your videos, everything about them is so enjoyable :)

  • Fantastic, pity I can't find the vanilla pigment in my area. I can find something similar from another good brand, so I might try it that way.

  • I ♥ your hairstyles in this video. Thanks for the advice. Now, i'm going to buy vannila pigment !

  • can u put vanilla pigment on tanner skin too? because i really tan and i dont no if it will turn up..weird! great vids though!

    munkee805

  • yeah I wonder that too. Can you? I have real tan skin.

  • woa! youre face really glowing at the end! I can't wait to go to the mall and I am going to buy some vanilla pigment. :) I never had any mac makeup ever, so I'm wondering, can you tell me the must have products for mac only? :D

  • so, i have one question. you put concealer on first, but for some of us that would be impossible. i have lots of spots to cover on my face and there's no way i could blend the concealer w/o moisturizer on first but i also don't think i'd want two layers of the stuff on. what do you suggest?

  • Thank you ! I love Vanilla Pig. and now I know more ways to use it ! xo

  • I have redness in my cheeks so I can't go without foundation... and yes, I'm envious that you can! :-P~ Do you think mixing my bare minerals with vanilla pigment would have the same effect or am I going to look like a disco ball?

  • you can try but something that may be the result of red cheeks is that you are being too rough on you skin or you have what they call rosashia(sp) a form of acne but does not look like it. You can get perscribe differn(this was what i was given but it was too strong and it dried my facce out too much) I recommend trying softer cleanser and a toner that helps blemishs its working on mine

  • Thanks but it's not blemishes or rosacia. I have great skin but I'm a combo of Southern Irish and German. I have rosy undertones on my arms and face but the rest of me has olive undertones. It's quite the conundrum which is why I even everything out with bare minerals.

  • oh cool how is bare minerals im really thinking of trying it because the current stuff i use i can only use on spots cause all over it doesnt look good on my already dryish skin

  • wow, you are productive lately. THANKS for all the vids. cheers. :)

  • so do i use the foundation first?

  • For foundation you should use moisturizer then mix the pigment with your foundation. Lol.. It was a hot day so all I had in mind was SPF.. so its moisturizer, then pigment and foundation. And set with powder :) thanks .. I'll mention that on my site.

  • does is stay all the day ?

  • Yes, can set with light powder too :)

  • thank you for sharing. i love the lip liner tip. good stuff. keep it up!!

  • hey pursebuzz...i juz rmred you look like angelina jolie...like your features remined me of her...nice videozzzzzz =)

  • If you tend to break out then, perhaps try a bit on your face first before you go all over. :)

  • I love this vanilla I have it and I'm going to try all this. Thanks for your videos

  • I havent asked this question are you a makeup artist?

  • Is that just for light skinned people? or can people with darker skin use it for their whole face as well?

  • Yes, this works for everyone :)

  • whats the difference between pigments and eyeshadows? apart from the obvious lol i realise it is a different product, are they alot better?

  • I'm SO excited! I just ordered some vanilla pigment and now I see this video and I'm like yayyy!!! LOL! HURRY UP WEDNESDAY! (it's when I get all my new mac stuff in) YAYYY
