Not only is this scene not funny, it's a perfect example of just how the show went from being the funniest thing ever to not funny at all. That "joke" in the clip, for one, is mean-spirited, two, is overly sophisticated -and not in a smart sense, simply in a worldly sense - and three, is just really not a good joke. It isn't clever or funny or subtle or layered or silly. It's obviously written by unfunny Ivy League grads who don't get the characters, the audience, or the show's type of humor.
