This document is oldfashioned and need to be uppdated. Especially when telling about war in eastern front and Soviet Union. New proxies and studies are showing that Stalin too was planning to attack either 1941 or 1942. Same about airwar (part whirlwind, how unsuccessful bombing Germany was ) .

Biggest reason why this tv-doc was poor is coz it was made in early 1970's when the whole western world were flapped to left with no critizism about stalinism and "Great Patriotic War".

firstly his purges before the war had almost completly eradicated the officer corps, causing the humiliation in finland and the early sucess into russia

seccondly his paranoia of the western powers led him to sing the nazi soviet pact allowing for an attack of poland and france by hitler, because no longer did hitler have to fear a prolonged war on two fronts, or even bother to fortify the eastern front all his efforts could go towards france

There is evidence tensions were running high between Germany and Russia during the 1930's the soviets & stalins goal was world donination there is evidence for that they saw themselves as the saving light of humanity the ideology of communism and facism were made to clash, Stalin would have invaded Germany at some point if germany had not made the first move. Germanys and Hitlers actions may well have saved the world from a one government communist Earth but I have no Evidence of that

yer they knew bcoz rommel n his africa core became famous a few years earlier in the epic battles between him n montgomery, he was very widely respected among the allies

I can see that Switzerland stands untouched by the Germans. Probably because you wouldn't want to attack a country that has all the money. But if your a country like Poland or Russia where there's poverty, watch the fuck out!!!
