id say trim dude! get rid of as many fan leaves as you can now with out stressing/shocking it too much. this will put more of the plants energy into the colas and also give the buds at the stalk of your plant more light keep on growing man youve got some great plants. peace! :)

Its a Sativa dominant plant. You can tell by the leaves. Sativa's grow tall and stretchy with very few leaves. So he did nothing wrong
