@SimbaFan12 you know this show was completely different when it first started, I saw this when I was 4 and back then it was only mickey fighting the dragon and jafar in cobra form, there was also bald mountain but there was definitely no jungle book or princesses so just keep it in mind that things change..
they could totally revamp this, get rid of the whole snow white thing, and swap it for the princess and the frog. cut peter pan, change the bald mountain bit to the firebird in fantasia 2000, that will include the sprite as well. also cut the jungle book stuff and change the queen for the with doctor guy.
@LastGleaming8 I'm sorry, but this is CLASSIC Disneyland. I love this show in it's entirety, as do millions of people who've seen it and go back to see it again. That's why the show fills up every night it plays. People love this show for what it already is, which is just...Fantasmic! I feel changing everything you said would totally change the entire feel of the show, and not in a good way. This is classic Disney villains at their best. Leave it the way it is and retain it's amazing reputation.

The new Fantasmic Dragon is incredible (when it works properly anyway) - it makes the former dragon (and the one still at WDW) look like amateur creations. You've got to see it to believe it.

Uh I didn't tape this show. Eternaldisney is the poster of this show so I'm pretty sure he/she taped it. Eternaldisney deserves kudos for the spectacular footage.
As to the different views of the stage, the area where the audience stands is in a large half circle around the river. In the daytime people walk along this pathway, at night it's partially roped off to allow people to stand and watch fantasmic. There are many different viewpoints along this path area. Hope that helps

Oh yeah I know. The original cartoon was called Steamboat Willie, but it starred Mickey Mouse. I love how they have the costume in black and white like it was in the cartoon!
I saw this show around Christmas time in celebration of my 18th birthday. I had tears in my eyes and trying so badly to keep the tears in towards the end, but when the snow started falling I just lost it.
great video very professional. I really like how you filmed the show from multiple angles and sink it up with the sound track. I also love the fact that your video shows the new dragon i haven't gotten to see it my self because the last two times i've gone since they added it, its been broken or something. but any way great job
@pokasio13 It depends on if its a busy day. During the summer it is played nightly with typically 2 shows per night. As for the rest of the year it is played Friday through Sunday. Just check Disneyland's schedule and it will show you the show times.

@theory24 that's because this is Disneyland's second dragon (Murphy). Since the show opened in 1993 they've had to repair and replace the original dragon.

Great video EternalDisney, love them all. Question though. At the end of this video, what is that thunder? Did you add that in for effect, or did the fireworks at the end make that sound? I know it's not in the soundtrack, so I'm curious. Love the effect regardless. :-)
Fantasmic is the greatest theme park show ever. Many other theme parks have tried but each time failed to even come close to Fantasmic or any Disney's theme shows.

I saw Fantasmic once, when I was 9. I'd seen clips on the Disney Channel (at that time you had to pay for it,) and had become obsessed. When I got there, a cast member done up in Lederhosen kicked me in the shin whilst fooling around with friends. I bled, he felt HORRIBLE, of course, (it was a scab from tree climbing, but whatever,)
Looks amazing! The XR500's quality is fantastic. How'd you get the audio to be so clear? Did you lower the shutter speed on the XR500 or is it just that good in low light?

Words cannot even begin to describe how jealous I am of Disneyland. I've only ever been to Disney World and Fantasmic! is my favorite show. This pwns it on so many levels, my mind is literally blown away. I HAVE TO GO SEE THIS!

Thank you so much for uploading this! I've never had a chance to go to Disneyland in Anaheim, but I've always loved Fantasmic in WDW. So to be able to see Anaheim's show in such amazing quality is AWESOME!

Besides the sword, if you also look closely at Mickey's Tux outfit at the very end, you can see a glimpse of Sorcerer Mickey's costume

they should make maleficents fire breath be green like in Sleeping Beauty! or make the lagoon have green fire on it. that wud really super impress me! World of Color definitely gives fantasmic a run for its money :D both shows are amazing

Great video EternalDisney, love them all. Question though. At the end of this video, what is that thunder? Did you add that in for effect, or did the fireworks at the end make that sound? I know it's not in the soundtrack, so I'm curious. Love the effect regardless. :-)

Fantasmic is the greatest theme park show ever. Many other theme parks have tried but each time failed to even come close to Fantasmic or any Disney's theme shows.

I still miss when it seemed that there were so many things to choose from after dark. I remember in 1993, we saw:
1) The Electrical Parade
2) Fireworks show
3) Beauty and the Beast Stage Show
4) Fantasmic
These days, they only give you Fantasmic and fireworks before you go.

I saw Fantasmic once, when I was 9. I'd seen clips on the Disney Channel (at that time you had to pay for it,) and had become obsessed. When I got there, a cast member done up in Lederhosen kicked me in the shin whilst fooling around with friends. I bled, he felt HORRIBLE, of course, (it was a scab from tree climbing, but whatever,)

Looks amazing! The XR500's quality is fantastic. How'd you get the audio to be so clear? Did you lower the shutter speed on the XR500 or is it just that good in low light?
