They had the money and so he won. I loved the AWA as I grew up with them. My father worked at the wrestling shows when I was a kid. Some wonderful memories I will never forget.
Personally, I prefer Bockwinkel to Hogan, but Gagne made a big mistake by not putting the belt on Hogan. Maybe we wouldn't be stuck with Vince McMahon's bullshit wrestling today.
