If you want a contract that binds you to all the laws governing your finances, property, insurance, etc., just draft it, have your partner sign with witnesses. No problem. You just can't call it "marriage". Iran follows Shari'a Law far more closely than Iran.
They don't have public beheadings or cutting off hands of thieves and placing them in boiling oil.
Islamic Law is followed far better in Iran than Saudi. Saudi contradicts Islamic Law on many occasions.

True to a sertain point. Christianity in Sweden has been forced to evolve to survive. And now it has agreed to let gays marry in church.

If I were christian, I certainly wouldn't listen to that part of the message, I'd treat it as if it were the part of the bible written by men with their own interests in mind. Perhaps he does too?

Christian view it not literarely true, which gives more room for interpretation. Because you must believe that everything that is important to be known to humankind was already available 1500 years ago.
The Golden ages were there for more reasons I guess. You can never recreate the past and I see that most people who do try to get that past back, destroy more than the create. I regard it as an illusion.

What bugs me about the Quran is that it is viewed as the literal word of God. Which creates THE source of wisdom and rules external to us humans.
I think God created humans with thoughts and emotions and if you live properly you will become a wise, insightful light bringing and loving person.
Real wisdom comes from inside. Do you believe that Sami? Does God also shows you wisdom directly or only through the Quran?
