I liked the original version better. Whoever arranged this tried putting too much variety into this song. You hear random fiddles coming in from nowhere playing music completely not fitting in with the rest of the music. It just isn't cohesive. As to the non-gay thing, I'm fine with it not being a gay based video but the video just doesn't fit again. It pains me to say all that.

No No No.. I sort of don't like the new arrangement that changes the atmosphere of the song in a "happy ending" ballad.. totally different from the original version. And the video - i am not straight-fobic: a not returned love is still a not returned love - is a lost opportunity to tell a very common dynamic for the gay community (so many of us had a friend that fell for us ) and you had found the right words to describe it in such a sweet, delicate way. Why not being consistent with a video?
