Very happy with my Dyson,cant be bothered looking at the model but it is blue. Before that i had Weirtheim. Good vac blew up in six seven yrs. I can suck up most of the snake poop when im cleaning. See my spot cleaning vid. The only problem is they needed to make the first nozzle and filter hole intake for larger stuff instead of having to pick it up cause the piece is too large. Mines the pet one.

@BAKUGAN0612 My experience is not the same as yours! I have this DC24 and I have a lot of pets. It's actually really good at sucking up all of the pet hair and it works for me.

Besides that the Dyson DC24 "mini Ball vacuum has the powerful performance of a full size Dyson upright, it's also strong enough to lift a VHS tape.

I have this little Dyson and I love it. It preforms like a big Dyson. I like that it's compact, not very bulky and easy to store. It has deep cleaning power and can suck up fine dirt, sand, rice, coffee grounds, pine needles and potato chip crumbs with ease. I'd say that the DC24 is a master carpet cleaner!

The waterlift rating is not an acurate reading due to taking it thru the wand.The wand has a more narrow tube compared to the rest of the hose thru out the cleaner.The trickled down wand diamater will give you an increase in suction power.But the reading at the floorhead and on the larger part of the hose will be lower.Around 70 inch's or less.

@tlaroche38 woo hoo you saved it from being scrapped what kind of motor does it have ydk or ametek? i had 4ydk dc01s and 1 ametek dc01 all standard models i had a dc03 standard aswell, dc04 absolute lime and prple 2 dc04 silver lime i got one from new this year anfd still have it a dc05 standard dc07 allergy blue and purple 2 of them, dc07 all floors blue and silver and finally dc07 standard yellow and grey i love them all :D

@Parwaz786 I believe it has an Ametek motor but i'm not sure. It sounds different to my YDK DC04. Slightly higher pitched. I guess I'll find out when the motor dies, or I change the belt, or really any other maintenance

that involves removing screws :P I've completed the videos and just about to upload them, you can see how well it picks up in comparison to a DC24!
