I have the TUNER MAG this car was Featured in. The engine setup and HP + Suspension are retard crazy!!! Luv it..... and that says alot coming from a Supra/Skyline guy. LOL.
This car is prototype, and it's not production model. Mugen made this, because many years ago, Mugen was producing and co-operating, building F1 engines for Honda. These days, Mugen is more classic tuner than engine builder. Engine in this prototype is similar in NSX-R model but not even close to performance.
I dont know exactly numbers, but it's far more than 100+hp/ liter engine.

Bonnet scoops blocks your vision and is a hazard. Rear scoops do not and is shaped to be reminiscent of an F1 car (which Honda is proud to have been associated with).
McLaren F1 has a roof scoop too so dont knock it.
Honda is the reason Acura started as a company in the late '80's. Acura was started up in North america by Honda Motors to sell more luxurious models of the Honda brand. Hence, the NSX was built by Honda.

Only thing I dont like about this car is the air intake on the rear window, or is that an air tunnel for the rear brakes.. either way it just kinda looks like a snorkel...
it's a snorkel intake, designed for the intake. It might serve other purposes, as there's no scoops on the side... which are usually used for brakes...
i agree with you. the Toyota Supra was quite fast but it wasbnt really considered as a supercar. it's always been NSXs and GT-Rs that represented Japan against other supercars from around the world. Lexus came up with LFA but it's not a Supra replacement so the Supra will stay as a sports coupe, not a supercar.

Well the roof scoop is for the intake since it is mid engine, and if the spoiler was lower that would defeat the purpose of it since the air has to flow from the top of the car to the spoiler to provide rear downforce.

This NSX will be expensive too and the only people who will be able to afford it are the top 2-3% income brackets. this car is amazing, the snorkel is a little awkward, but the overall design is flawless. a pure racing beast. IT JUST SCREAMS THROW DRIVE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i wonder whats the specs on this badboy?

Only thing I dont like about this car is the air intake on the rear window, or is that an air tunnel for the rear brakes.. either way it just kinda looks like a snorkel...

it's a snorkel intake, designed for the intake. It might serve other purposes, as there's no scoops on the side... which are usually used for brakes...

i agree with you. the Toyota Supra was quite fast but it wasbnt really considered as a supercar. it's always been NSXs and GT-Rs that represented Japan against other supercars from around the world. Lexus came up with LFA but it's not a Supra replacement so the Supra will stay as a sports coupe, not a supercar.

Well the roof scoop is for the intake since it is mid engine, and if the spoiler was lower that would defeat the purpose of it since the air has to flow from the top of the car to the spoiler to provide rear downforce.
