what is Maddow's problem with the Republicans not throwing their values--however disgusting we might fight them--into the trash. Maddow is more committed left -wong polemic than to doing good news and analysis. End of story. Deal with it.
Maddow is not advocating that the Republicans throw their values in the trash. She is merely asking (given the figure that only 20% of people currently identify as Republican), why they dont moderate their stance a little on certain issues to bring more people into the fold. As a result, she questions Cheneys advice not to moderate. I cant fault her analysis on this.
