  • I would recommend the pintail 37, or 40 depending on how long you want it.

  • @Originalskateboards What wheels should I get for the Pintail 37? I'm a beginner buying it for cruising and looking forward to try sliding should I take the standard wheels or pick one of the options also should I buy a truck spring what is that?

  • @Originalskateboards Up to how do you think the Pintail 37 will last me if I ride it like 30min every day? A year or two? More or less?

  • what's a right longboard for beginners like me, 5ft, 115lbs? just for cruisin, small hills, and bumpy ride.

  • Comment removed

  • what wheels would be best for sliding other than stimulus? ive been looking into gumballs or maybe zigzags.. what would you reccomend? its going on an apex 37

  • @longboarding911 a lot of our riders like the abec 11 flashbacks for sliding!!

  • I'm 6'1 and weigh 180 lbs, I would use a board on side walks mostly and I want to coast on the board with little effort, which board would you suggest?

  • @UrbanActions The Pintail 40 with some upgraded bearings would be perfect for what you are looking to do.

  • @Originalskateboards i just want original to not turn into some major corporation that every other company is i just want you guys to not be like that i just ask for you to make more effort to be like you did when you started out thank you for your time and listening to my opinions.

  • @TheAandTvideos thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts with us! Don't worry, we're still a tiny family owned company from NJ. Our customers mean so much to us which is why we have included rkp trucks and high performance boards to our company.

  • how much is the max weight for this board?

  • @IMsillypantsman123 hey there silly pants! The Path 37 was replaced by the Pintail 37, and it can hold up to 180lbs.

  • @Originalskateboards dude i am 190 and i want to get into longboarding wat board would you recomend and all your boards look awsome

  • do you have to pay for these longboards because in the website it didnt seem to say how much it cost???? o_O

  • @XiCookies4iX the Path 37 was replaced by our Pintail 37! The complete starts at $169

  • @Originalskateboards you know original i fell in love with your company because of the one thing and that is the laidback peacful longboarding. not this new freestyle stuff that all the other companies are like and i ask you please go back to the basics by coming out with a new board made for just cruising like the derringer28 that was my absolute favorite board and i never got the chance to buy one before all of your freestyle boards came out i love original and longboarding but u should think.

  • im 5'3 13 years old and weigh about 120-125 ponds what long board should i get

  • @QurbStomp thanks for providing us your height and weight, but please let us know what type of riding you are looking to do and whether or not you have experience! Once we know more information we can help you choose the right set up

  • @QurbStomp can the pintail 43 go fast?

  • @elias11023 ohh yes definitely ive hit 37 mph on it before... with the right setup

  • This looks just like a pintail, excuse my ignorance, you can probably tell I dont know much about longboards but could somebody explain the difference???

  • @MrRubixBunny The boards in the Pintail series are newer, upgraded versions of the older boards similar to this shape and style that Original made. The Pintails are more stiff and stable than the older boards and they also are lower because they do not require the use of a riser.

  • 1:32 - 1:42 that road is so smooth... Thats like a dream... But... do you get wheel bite on this deck?

  • she is soooooooooooooo hot ;)

  • hey do you guys sell freerides? cause i saw the freeride video, and im looking at getting an apex 37, if you's don't sell freerides, will the apex do similar to what the freerides do? Please respond if you can :)

  • @SeanCarrolCapaldi we will be releasing the Freerides very soon! I responded to your inbox message, check it out.

  • @augsterlee2 this board has bad replaced by the Pintail 37.

  • how much?

  • hi original im looking for a longboard that can slide and can slide too please respond to me :) im 100 pounds and 5'6 :)

  • @xTaxipseedx check out our Apex 37 and the new Freeride boards which will be out soon. Both of these boards are great to slide with. The Apex, however, is also great for Freestyle!

  • Press 7 repeatedly THE BIST TRICK EVER

  • HI im trying to find a longboard thats not too big and good for going to and back from school. My street is mainly flat but has a few pretty steep hills and i was wondering if the pintail 37 or the path 37 is better suited.

  • @cyclingkid548 check out our Pintail 37. It's small enough to carry around when you're commuting, but it's also stable enough for your commute down to town every day.

  • leading the way in versatility and style, how funny

  • Hey Original,

I know i already asked about a board but i was wondering, which board would be best just for cruising? Im 5'9 and weigh 120.

    Thank You

  • @Danul11 our best cruising board for you would be our pintail 37! You'll be able to get some tight carves with this board and have enough stability for some speed.

  • i called you guys like a week ago about a different board, the you said something about new boards coming in, is there anywhere i can see what these new boards are gonna be?

  • what kind of longboard is durable to carry a 250 pound man?

  • @LeXoNHd look into either the Pintail 46, or the Apex 37 Cruiser weight!

  • @LeXoNHd pintail 46 :)

  • maliki 40 is better

  • u should put prices on the vids plz original also how much is this one ?

  • @ihaveabigfanny the path has been replaced with the Manhattan!

  • hi i would like to purchase a longboard im new to it and im like 160

ibs and i am not really in to free riding sliding or tricks, im more interested in carving comuting and cruising but i first thought the malakai was cool now im looking at the path 37, or the pintail 37-40. id like something with a wide deck but not too wide. im not too worried for the price but i just would like some advice. hopefully my cryteria isint too bad. thanks colin

  • @GhetoBlasterSociety check out the Pintail 40! This board would be perfect for you and commuting because it's low to the ground making pushing easier.

  • im new to long boarding. im gonna be cruising, riding around the city, and hils in central park. just a beginner so no tricks yet but maybe eventually.i weigh 110 and am 5' 7". was thinking about the pin tail 37 but not too sure

  • I'm looking for a board thats a good shredding deck but at the same time good at cruising. I'm a little torn between a mini longboard like the Manhattan and a bigger board like the Custom and the Apex... Does anyone have any information on which board would be best for shredding and hitting up spots but at the same time easy to cuise on?

  • If you guys life carving then you should check out sector 9's aperture with double king pin trucks iv never ridden a board that carves so much and i got my board for 200 bones.

  • Funny how they play such a sweet song for this video... Haha, it works =P

  • alright this summer im really looking into an original board. I'm into downhill, tons of sliding, and flip tricks, and im 5 foot five and 115 pounds. What's the best choice and best deal for what I'm looking for in the original arsenal?

  • Hey Original, i'm looking for a board to deep carve down some hills, then push it on into town to cruse around, would this be a good board for me or is there one that would be better?

  • Hey,

i weigh 138 lbs and wanted to start longboarding with a group of my friends, I was wondering what type of board would be good for me. I saw on your website the custom 37 which is the new Path 37 which is good for beginners. I wanted to know if that was a good choice for someone who doesn't really wanna do tricks, but wants to longboard to relax and take it wasy.

  • hey Wasup original i was just wondering which is a good longboard that has versatility with carving and crusing long distances. Im not a real fan of tricks on longboards and I'm also a beginner so which longboard would be ideal for me ?

  • That girl cute

  • Landyachtz all the way.

  • Hey Im Just Plainging on curzing Around a flat Surface maybe hitting Some hills Hardly Becuaase im prety Flat Ground And im woundering what to get

  • I want an original board so bad but they're so expensive.

  • why do you guys only occasionally wear helmets? it's kinda dangerous, and promotes the wrong type of message to some younger viewers -_-

  • Hey, I´m a 13 year old boy who would like to try out some Longboarding!I weigh about 45kg and i´m 1.65m tall.What Board should I use??.......Please recommend.:D

  • i'm lost!! did she say 73?? and it is 73 or is it 37??

  • hey which board shud i buy?

    im 65kg and 168cm tall

and im a beginner please recommend a long board for me

  • @s8tevan00921 Hey! Your question really depends on what type of longboarding you're looking to getting into. If you want to get into the progressive side of longboarding, doing freestyling, freeriding and sliding, you should check out the Apex 37. If you just want a longboard for carving, commuting and cruising, and not spend that much money on a board, you should check out our Pintails! Let us know if you have any other questions.

    -Petter

  • @s8tevan00921 not an original

  • i weigh about 70 pounds so what board should i use

  • @TheEpicCrazy3 Try the Pintail 37, its the new version of the Path and would certainly work for you.

  • @Originalskateboards Do you know when they'll restock the pintail 37? and what's the difference between the path 37 and the pintail 37?

  • @mowjilladela17 Pintail 37 is instock now. Pintail 37 is an updated version of the old Path 37. It is lower (more stable) and slightly stiffer.

  • @TheEpicCrazy3 Jesus Christ! You're light! I'm 13 and 95 lbs.

  • @TheEpicCrazy3

    how old are you.......

  • @R0FLLMA0WTF 11

  • If I am 130lb and 6ft, would the pintail 37 be long enough or should I go with the pintail 43?

I am planning on using it for school commuting in downtown.

  • @aPlanetBrian The 37 should be fine, the shorter the board, the easier to push, so the 43 might be a bit longboard, but it's only a small difference.

  • does anyone here have a old version of the apex 37 or the apex 34 that they are willing to sell? send me a message if you do..

  • hello everyone at original im 11 years old and 5 foot tall 43 kilograms im thinking of getting a long board i need one thats good for carving and good for new zealand roads and can go sweet on flats what would you recomend???

  • wow she is pretty

  • i weigh about 170 lbs, do any of you think that the pintail 37 would have to much flex for me

  • @fallenmetal08

No, it should work out for you

  • hey original, im 5ft 1in, and 80 pounds. what board would you recommend for tight carving, some downhill, and flatland?

  • @TheKeyWestian

I would recommend either the Pintail 37 or the Apex 34. Just know that the max speeds for these boards is around 20mph to 25mph, but you can handle higher speeds with skill and experience.

  • damn she is goodlooking

  • i think she liked me..

  • i fell in love with not only the board cause of this song

  • hey, Im 5' 6" and 127 pounds. I'm a complete beginner, but I want a board that i can keep using as i get better. I want a board that can handle some really fast speeds and, more importantly, carves well. I was thinking the Apex 37. Is that a good choice? If not, what is?

  • @NSS1022

    Hey Nss,

As a beginner you have a lot of choices. The Apex is a great deck and the additional performance you get out of the construction will help. That said you don't truly need that performance until you are an advanced rider.

For less money you could check out the Pintail 40 or Pintail 37 to start and then think about adding an Apex to your quiver down the line.... or you could get the Apex straight off the bat ; )

  • so senores Originalskateboards,

i am 5'11" and 160 lbs. I want a nice length board with a sexy deep carve, and nice cruising on hills(since i live in Florida there are not any big hills). I feel like the pintail 40 would be a board for me. What does thou sayeth?

  • @MrBrocean

Sounds like the board for you!

  • hey guys can u make more vidieos ive seen them all so many times and there awsome

  • @Originalskateboards Hey guys, Im 5' 7" and 129 pounds. i live in a smaller town with lots of decent sized hills that i wanna carve... but i also just want a good board to get around on. would the pintail 40 be a good board for me? if not what would be?

  • @Mr99timone

The Pintail 40 would work great for you, but you can also check out the Pintail 37, or Derringer which should be back in about a month.

  • @Originalskateboards

Thanks alot.... i was also wondering what wheels come stock on the Pintail 37 and pintail 40

  • @Mr99timone

Both come standard with 70mm Kryptonics

  • Hey im 5'1 and 78 pounds whats a good board for me?

  • @elementsk8ter567 a skateboard

  • @elementsk8ter567

If you want something mainly for cruising around on and carving with, the Pintail 37 would be a great choice for you as well as the Malakai 40. Other boards for you to look at, which should be back in stock within the next month, are the Derringer and Apex 34. Hope this helps, and if you have any other questions, let us know!

  • my favorite board is the 40, torpedo

  • you can do tricks

  • she can ride my 37 wood anytime

  • @naamanb HA. more like 3.7

  • Makes me feel this is a girl board now...

  • Comment removed

  • is there alot of concave on the path 37

  • @pleasedontblockme1 just bein honest, do you think people are going to go bomb originals place because of your complaints? The past is the past, dude, find another gnarly skate spot and move along. Sorry to hear you lost it, but at least you got to skate it, so be happy.

  • @BDlaxer94 you're bound to meet some girl who likes to skate somewhere. Since longboarding is growing rapidly more girls will definately start. My friends and I are girls and we all just got into it so I'm sure others will too

  • where can i find chicks that are down to skate!?!?!

  • Hey Original,

Loving your videos! I'm 14 years old, 5"5, 100 pounds, and i ride a Ripstik and a SoleSkate (neither take hills well). I'm looking for a longboard to carve on hills, but still pump on flats like my ripstik. I wouldn't be doing any tricks.

I'm looking at the Derringer 28 with:

    - S6 trucks

    - Retro BigZig 75mm wheels

    - Cell Swiss (Black V1) bearings

Should I try the S8s or even another brand's trucks? When do you think the derringer will be back in stock?

    Cheers from Australia!

  • where can i buy this and whats the price?

  • she is damn fine, especially because of her style

  • hi original i was thinking of getting a board but it has to be under 175 -sales tax i weigh 220 and im 5"5 i was thinking to get a path 37 hybrid 35 or a derringer 28

  • i would only but this deck because of the chick

  • I wish I had blue eyes :(

  • I would buy anything from her! ANYTHING!!!

  • @Originalskateboards when are u gettting the new apex 37 back in stock?? because i buying one just never in stock

  • Gay.

  • hey original

    im 4'8 and 80 pounds

i like going fast down hills and doing some serious carving

what would be a good board for me

    thanks I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i got a 46 pintail, but i want a smaller board for cruising to school, i like the look of this, BUT, on the images on your website the riser pads make the board look very high off the ground which puts me off a lot. so can you tell me how high the path 37 is from the ground please? and restock coz you guys are always out of stock. i love your website and videos besides that.

  • @2428Tommy i have the path...its not as high as you would think...its about the same height as like paris or gullwing trucks even with the risers

  • that thing is bendy man.....aight cool.....

  • whats the best board for powersliding? and i do not want an apex.

  • Hi there. Question: Is there a big difference between 37and 40 inches? Im interested with the path but I thought it might be a bit short although im not looking for anything too long either. I wanna cruise mostly and do some distances. Im skateboarding atm but I really want a change of size. Do you guys have any shops or retailers in NZ or Europe so I could try the different boards?. (Im in NZ now but am going back to Europe soon)

    Cheers

    PS: Love your videos

  • Hey original, I'm 160-165 pounds and about 5 ft. I'm trying to decide if I should get this or the torpedo 40. I want something I can cruise with but also have something that I can carve to slow down when going down small slopes. I hate going too fast when going down hills. I like how the torpedo has more componment options but I like the path because it has fiberglass which makes it more durable. Pease help!

  • Hey im 6'1 and 145 pounds, i like freestyle carving and flatland, whats a good board for me?

i love your boards and videos, keep up the good work

  • @Quantum313

I would recommend the Apex 37! That is our best board for freestyle, carving and flatland. If you have any other questions, let us know!

  • @Originalskateboards hey could you guys do a review of the new pintail 37 please x)

  • @MrLngBrd GET IT. its awesome

  • Im 5'9 180 lbs, which board would suit me?

  • @christiantarist01

Tell us about your terrain and if you've had any previous board sport experience. This will help us find a good board for you!

  • Hi.

    Im about 5'2. 90punds.

I was thinking which board is good for me? I'm still a beginner. But i skateboard.

I really like your boards. very stylish.

    Thanks it would really help

  • @PenguinsNPuppies

This would be an excellent board for you, considering your height and weight and having previous skateboarding experience helps! Let us know if you have any other questions

  • @PenguinsNPuppies dude to be honest with you, i wouldnt get an original board. the spring loaded trucks are shit. if your going to drop 180 on a board dont buy this one

  • @alore57 So what do you mean the spring loaded trucks?

  • @PenguinsNPuppies original trucks use springs instead of bushings thus making them very snappy thus making it a harder cruise or gnarly hill carving( for me) and a few people ive talked to about them.

  • @alore57

    Key word: "few"

  • @Originalskateboards as in the few that decided to buy an original

  • @alore57

or the few that decide to comment on our videos?

  • @PenguinsNPuppies

Our Trucks are engineered to utilize a spring instead of a bushing. This along with our patented wave cams use displacement to store energy in the spring through a carve, and then release this once you come out of it, returning you to center. What this allows is much more maneuverability than a traditional bushing truck, while remaining extremely responsive. This maneuverability helps out with general cruising around and also comes in handy when initiating slides!

  • whats the song?? plssss!

  • im 5'2 90 pounds would this be a good board for me

  • @MrOutlaws26

Yes, and it will be released by next week as the Pintail 37!

  • Hey i'm 5'6 and 140lbs. I want a board thats a good freestyle board and can handle good downhill. Also what are some good sliding wheels for standup slides?

  • @quikerthenice

I would suggest the Apex 37 and for wheels, the Orangatang Stimulus or Abec 11 Freerides!

  • im 5'5 130 lbs, what do you guys think for a second board?

  • @AdamKnight86

What board do you have now?

  • I am a beginner wanting to get a board that will last me a while, I'm 5'9" and 140lbs. I want to be able to carve and bomb hills because my neighborhood has lots of hills. Which board would you reccomend?

  • @superknightHCHS

Go with either the Pintail 40 or Pintail 43! Both of those will work great for what you're looking to do and you'll be able to hold onto them for a while.

  • WHEN WILL THESE BE BACK IS STOCK PLZ RESPOND

  • @conureboy

These are now going to be the Pintail 37 and they will be available within the next two weeks!

  • @Originalskateboards will the pintail 37 still have the same flex as the path 37?

  • Im 6 foot and 243 pounds ( i know, big boy!) Which is good this or a pintail?
