Don't know anyone who married their high school sweetheart, and if they did, they're divorced now because they weren't mature enough at the time to realize that they're marrying each other for the wrong reasons or they realized that they missed out on just having a good time meeting other people.

@PaleFatBoy the same situation happend to me...you may still end up having some leftover feelings, but you will recover :) no matter how much you love her. it took me a few months, and it felt like years...but when you find someone that will fill the void that was your love for her, then the pain will become less and less, until its almost nothing...but it will always be there....at least, thats the way it worked for me :\ i hope it works for you too :)
