@TheMnx1983 No I didn't. But I'm planning to install some on a future build to see if the oscillators become more stable. The way they are without tempco's... Oh well... They drift like hell.
@frotz661 I had a Fatman and didn't like it at all. I spent a lot of time tweaking it and even running it through effects, but I couldn't get past that "ducky" farty sound quality that it is. At least mine did. The one thing that it was good for was some really fast bass. With the subosc up, that thing did thump.
Wonderful sound - I really do think that most of analog synth vids do a disservice to what they are capable of. So thank you for posting this and showing what can be done.
Not a chance. His price is way too low. I build these in wooden cabinets, as opposed to planethsynth's abs boxes, and the aluminum front panels I use require much more work, so mine are more expensive.
Ahhh sorry I have so many questions. I just want to figure things out before I do it :p For Q7, it shows only B and E, so do you just not connect the other lead?
I was about to look on ebay. I just got an sk-10 I'm going to bend B] I've seen converters going for $500 which is a little high for me, but I'm not giving up yet. I would love to have your setup
Thanks! I got the midi to cv converter on ebay from user din_sync
Just do a search and you'll find their store. It's a very basic converter but it does the job very well. It's quite affordable too. :-) Good luck with your project!

The minisynth would have 2 OSC, a filter, an ADSR gen, and an amp?

This sort of thing makes me want to ditch my Fatman once and for all.

Probably the best and only proper demo of the mini synth about.

How much would you charge to build one of these for someone?
ColaberMilk 2 years ago
I'm affraid I can't compete with the very low price offered by planetsynth. Check out his site and order one there.
Dovinia 2 years ago
yeah, I was planning on that, just wanted to check if you would have had a lower price.

A few more things...What is connected to the oscillator 1 and 2 cv? How difficult was this to build?
Dick11011101 3 years ago
p.s. I really like the bass tones at the beginning
