  • I dyed my hair with my second daughter. I just used a box hair dye. Idk about bleaching it through I would talk to your doctor.

  • i got my regular full head of foils and it felt like my head was sunburnt for the rest of the night, it's completely safe so don't stress :))

  • Yes I bleached my hair!

just wear a mask and sit in a opened up room with windows open

what kind of dye do you use?

I used born blonde while pregnant and as you can see my daughter is fine

  • I would WAIT!!!!!! :) the smell is so strong :(

    good luck

  • It's perfectly safe to dye your hair while pregnant. Just make sure you're in a well-ventaliated area and all shall be fine.

  • ive heard you should wait till the second trimester, im in the same boat as you lol

  • I would really recommend that you talk to your doctor about it. Because the dye/bleach is absorbed into the scalp and therefore into the body, many doctors advise that you avoid coloring during the first trimester because your baby is undergoing important fundamental developments. There are a ton of ways to dye your hair naturally too! <3 Good luck <3

  • No it will not hurt you to dye your hair while pregnant I did and my kids are prefectly normal as can be

  • Don't risk it especially in the first trimester. It is bad to bleach it. Worry about your hair after your pregnancy.

  • If you're only getting foils or streaks its ok because the dye doesn't touch your skin.

  • dying after 12 weeks is ok with amonia free hair dye. Bleaching is not safe during pregnancy!

  • i don't think its safe maybee try going to a salon and ask if there are any way to dye your hair safely during pregnancy ?

  • no! not safe!!!

  • After 12 weeks it is fine, just make sure the hair dye is ammonia free.

  • I'd say definitely no.

The chemicals for you are harmless, but when they are passed on down to the baby it can be very dangerous. Don't.

  • Hi, i know this might not be good help as i never did this but my friends sister is a Nursery Nurse ( looks after newborns in hospital) and you could ask her :) her username is 3rdclassgirl :)

  • yes, it dafe to dye ur hair, just dont do it so many times (:

  • It's not a proven thing yet, but, once you get out of the 1st trimeseter is is safer.

  • Its not really safe to dye your hair when your pregnant. But if you are going to do it dont do it till after 12 weeks of pregnancy. id yed my hair when i was 20 some weeks pregnant and my son is fine. But you have to be careful too when doing it.

  • I'm pretty sure it is alright as long as you use an ammonia free dye. But i don't know 100% so maybe ask your doctor when you go for your next appt or just give the office a call.

Congratulations! And good luck with everything.

  • What the hell @Haylee.

YES, it is safe. I have dyed my hair 2 times so far and my pregnancy is going great! Nothing is wrong with it. :D

  • @teenmommyandbaby If its bleach? its bad color hair die like black brown would be fine after 13 weeks but bleach an ammonia in it. witch is bad for the baby you doing that its like huffing nail polish :P

  • No its not lol im prego to lol and the color seeps into you head and gets in your blood stream if you care about your baby you wouldnt.

  • yes its safe, as long as your not in a small room. sit outside or in a big room so ur not inhaling the fumes.

  • You can dye your hair when your pregnant, the only thing is because of all your hormon changing the color can turn out something else then you wanted (bleach can turn into a little green or something) Ive dyed my hair when I was pregnant and it turned out ok! Also make sure you are in a well aired room when you do it! XOX

  • Bleach.. not a good idea.

  • Of Course it depends on the Woman. if you wanted to be on the safe side, you could defanantly use the shampoo dye. It does not look as good as prefesional, but looks pretty well.

Most doctors say no because they really don't know how it will affect the baby. But a lot of women do and have normal babies. Ask your doctor and go with what they tell you.

  • idk beautiful woman btw
