Whoa! You struck gold with this one. This was a 'B' side that was played more than the flip at parties on the South Side basement sets. Major had fallen into a rut by 1967 with the formula beat that made him famous, so everyone was looking for the Curtis Mayfield in him to come forth. This was the ballad that did it.
