eating ingredients doesnt work, i had 2K ham eat it all, and nothing, straight out of the sewers as well, i was creating a playable goblin, i didnt succeeed but i made the worlds first pink skinned dark elf. it actually looked like an imperial if i hadnt made his face 1mm wide. hehehehehheheee

Go to the Mystic Emporium in the imperial city. if you hadnt noticed, all the stuff on display you can "take" not "steal" i got myself a nice pair of fortify fatigue pants for FREEEEEEEEEEEEE. there are loads of scrolls lying about the place, behind the counter and also on a table next to the fortify fatigue pants, the table carries the exact same as the one behing the counter, so there will be a FLARE scroll on each table.---------- R3TARDED GOD----------- i know most glitches on oblivion.

@burningcynders - the character used is a level 1, no doubt. I had gone to a few towns to find cheaper ingredients.
You can get mages robes at level 1 from the imperial market by talking to Ontus Vanin, a guy who hangs out near the mystic emporium and isdressed in all white (mages robes), just talk to him, go into the disposition game and make it go to zero. He will start fighting you, and the guards will attack and kill him. Then just take his clothes. However, he's useful for a quest later.
ur dupin like an idiot, as long as u have more of 1 type than the other u can dupe them so u cud just dupe the 1 by 2 then pickup 1 of them then do that again, but then after that dupe 3 by 2 and so on

You could just steal lots off stuff. but dont bother to drop it. when you get caught you pay the gold or go to jail (which ever you chose) and when you get out (this is in imperial city) turn around and go into the bastion. behind the guys desk you see a very easy locked chest and when you pick it (in the sneak position) you go and open the chest again.Then you get ALL the items the gaurds have confescated... :) Good Luck and happy stealing !!!

scroll duping wont work if you have game of the year so i suggest using the enchanted chest in the arch mage's tower after the mage's guild quest line
agreed, i have GOTY and i dupe stuff all the time, liek 2 sets of umba armor, like 7 sets of full daedric,6 skeleton keys, to name very very few of what i have. but i used a different method, i did the "risen flesh/skull of corruption" combo to get my stuff, then do the duping thing on the fly for arrows and such. lolz i gotz 415,000,000 mill though

this is how i power level alc i do the duping glitch with my sword and with two ingredients i make like 2,000 of each ingredient and i just create the same potion over and over again until i have master alc it took me from lvl 25 alc to lvl 100 20 minutes.
I love the random comments and observations you make during the tutorials you've made, like the one about how the pictures on the loading screens extend beyond the middle section, how you like jumping off the top steps, etc.

Well you mean a guide to which ingredients MAKE better potions right? For that you should look up Oblivion's wiki. They have a list of EVERY alchemy item in the game and EVERY effect for each item. Just collect ones that are best and concoct a severly strong potion for healing and magicka ^_^ You're welcome!
@Caeadi - Never said you had to do it in just one place, I only did it where I did, because it was nearby where I bought the items, and the place was convenient so they didn't roll around everywhere -- and explained that in the text =)
hey idiot u can dupe faster by having increments of an item. it wont drop all of the items in singles u can pick up 5 groups of ten for having 50 scrolls instead of picking up all 50 one at a time just hit a button on the high number of scrolls, then a on a lower number of a different scroll, then on the item u wanna dupe. if u already have say 10 of the item ur duping and 50 scrolls, it will drop 5 items in sets of ten, so u only have to pick stuff up 5 times not 50 individuals.
@TcKCarnage2 - I already knew that, but it's not necessarily faster (because you have to confirm each multi-item pickup most of the time, instead of just tapping the pick-up button repeatedly), plus a lot of viewers have a tough time even understanding the basic duping technique, much less explaining all that. I figured they could discover that on their own.
@LITTLEbigMaN95 - See those words that appear from the top of the screen? Read them. If it goes by too quickly, pause to read it. It's already explained.
easier way i know is to get like 50 potatos and apples (always works with them) and sell them to angry elf food shop guy in imperial market. When you buy them back it subtracts 2 from total and dups in his inventory (buy 50 and 48 appear) they cost 1 each to dup and you sell potions for around 50. I maxed alchemy in like 3 mins (tapping x forEVER), and got over 100k in maby half an hour (20 mins of which was button mashing while watching tv :D) never seen video of it, but it always works for me.
HAHA cheers mate, I'm gunno do this with my PS3 GOTY edition so I can jack up alchemy and make a tidy profit, also there's that rat trick to get my heavy armour and block up to master.

to move items without adding them to your inventory (such as from one place in a room to another, or from the floor to the top of a desk) put the crosshairs over it (point at it) and click the left shoulder button (above the trigger) and move around. The item will hover in the air as if you've grabbed it. However, merchants may still interpret this as stealing, if it's their item.
when you're duping ingredients it's best to stand in small closets in bravil there is one in the house you can buy there just enter the house and turn right get in the closet and dupe as much as u want
dont u get more xp for alchemy if u use more ingredients to make better potions?i think i may b wrong but just to be safe i always use 4 ingredients in my potions for leveling
either way, the duping and rapid production is the technique. Using 2, 3 or 4 may increase alchemy experience, but likely to a negligible degree is my guess.
hey, i havnt tried yet, but do you think it would work with the armorer skill? Dupe dammaged armor/weps and repair hammers, then repair away? Just a thought :)
if u get ur alchemy to lvl 100 ull be about lvl 12 right? so if ur weak in everything else doesnt that mean u will have rlly weak attack for lvl 12 and get raped by enemies?
Depends on what you mean by weak. With duping, the most expensive armor and weapons are practically free. If you've got 100% chameleon (easily done by level 5) then you can destroy even the toughest enemies without a scratch.
well im new to this game i have a lvl 21 warrior and im working on a mage right now, but how do u level destruction fast and how do i get 100% chameleon?
I've got another video for Chameleon. The only way to really level destruction is to just cast destruction spells, like the flare you get starting out. If you're high up in the mage guild, or have the wizard's tower add-on, make yourself a damage-health to self spell for 1 point and cast that repeatedly so you don't accidentally hit someone.
u can get a 100% chameleon as a arch-mage by making 20% chameleon to 5 pieces of armor and wearing them. sigil stones can be used too, if u got three transcendent sigil stone with 30% chameleon, u need only 3 pieces of armor. simple but maybe bit hard to acquire these enchants and stones ;)
Sorry man, I was playing the non-GOTY version. My bad. Hey, do you know if the skills you gain while in the initial tutorial level affect your stats if you're trying to do efficient leveling? Like after you leave the sewers and gain the major/minor skills?
I've got the non-GOTY version also. I'm not terribly sure about how training affects other skills, you might try searching the UESP, I'm sure they could tell ya ^_^
Ok. Its just that when I started efficient leveling, they said not to waste skills at all, so I though it is was really bad when I started gaining levels in the tutorial, and ended up just running straight through it, not killing anything :P

Doesn't work on Nirnroot. Doesn't work on stolen items. You can use the stolen items as the quantity, but not as the item to dupe.

hey idiot u can dupe faster by having increments of an item. it wont drop all of the items in singles u can pick up 5 groups of ten for having 50 scrolls instead of picking up all 50 one at a time just hit a button on the high number of scrolls, then a on a lower number of a different scroll, then on the item u wanna dupe. if u already have say 10 of the item ur duping and 50 scrolls, it will drop 5 items in sets of ten, so u only have to pick stuff up 5 times not 50 individuals.

@TcKCarnage2 - I already knew that, but it's not necessarily faster (because you have to confirm each multi-item pickup most of the time, instead of just tapping the pick-up button repeatedly), plus a lot of viewers have a tough time even understanding the basic duping technique, much less explaining all that. I figured they could discover that on their own.

easier way i know is to get like 50 potatos and apples (always works with them) and sell them to angry elf food shop guy in imperial market. When you buy them back it subtracts 2 from total and dups in his inventory (buy 50 and 48 appear) they cost 1 each to dup and you sell potions for around 50. I maxed alchemy in like 3 mins (tapping x forEVER), and got over 100k in maby half an hour (20 mins of which was button mashing while watching tv :D) never seen video of it, but it always works for me.

HAHA cheers mate, I'm gunno do this with my PS3 GOTY edition so I can jack up alchemy and make a tidy profit, also there's that rat trick to get my heavy armour and block up to master.

You get 10x the experience for creating a potion than for eating an ingredient, so it is much much easier and faster to train by creating potions.

to move items without adding them to your inventory (such as from one place in a room to another, or from the floor to the top of a desk) put the crosshairs over it (point at it) and click the left shoulder button (above the trigger) and move around. The item will hover in the air as if you've grabbed it. However, merchants may still interpret this as stealing, if it's their item.

when you're duping ingredients it's best to stand in small closets in bravil there is one in the house you can buy there just enter the house and turn right get in the closet and dupe as much as u want

dont u get more xp for alchemy if u use more ingredients to make better potions?i think i may b wrong but just to be safe i always use 4 ingredients in my potions for leveling

either way, the duping and rapid production is the technique. Using 2, 3 or 4 may increase alchemy experience, but likely to a negligible degree is my guess.

if u get ur alchemy to lvl 100 ull be about lvl 12 right? so if ur weak in everything else doesnt that mean u will have rlly weak attack for lvl 12 and get raped by enemies?

Depends on what you mean by weak. With duping, the most expensive armor and weapons are practically free. If you've got 100% chameleon (easily done by level 5) then you can destroy even the toughest enemies without a scratch.

I've got another video for Chameleon. The only way to really level destruction is to just cast destruction spells, like the flare you get starting out. If you're high up in the mage guild, or have the wizard's tower add-on, make yourself a damage-health to self spell for 1 point and cast that repeatedly so you don't accidentally hit someone.

u can get a 100% chameleon as a arch-mage by making 20% chameleon to 5 pieces of armor and wearing them. sigil stones can be used too, if u got three transcendent sigil stone with 30% chameleon, u need only 3 pieces of armor. simple but maybe bit hard to acquire these enchants and stones ;)

For a total of 100%, you need four 30% chameleons. You can still be seen and identified (by royal guards, for instance) even if you're 90%.

I don't think drinking them does anything, and I think you can only drink about 4-5 before the game makes you stop for a while, most of the time.

Everything except Nirnroot, takes about 3 days. The grow back in Morrowind also, but it takes 4 months game-time to grow back.

The scroll dupe glitch no longer works. It now doesn't mark how many scrolls you have, nor allow you to drop them (xbox).

Sorry man, I was playing the non-GOTY version. My bad. Hey, do you know if the skills you gain while in the initial tutorial level affect your stats if you're trying to do efficient leveling? Like after you leave the sewers and gain the major/minor skills?

I've got the non-GOTY version also. I'm not terribly sure about how training affects other skills, you might try searching the UESP, I'm sure they could tell ya ^_^

Ok. Its just that when I started efficient leveling, they said not to waste skills at all, so I though it is was really bad when I started gaining levels in the tutorial, and ended up just running straight through it, not killing anything :P
