  • to all those who need there files made into one big one, go on tools- settings- IFO Mode tab and then click on file splitting (which is default set on 1GB) and set it on none.

  • I had use this DVD decrypter for years to copy movies in my external hard drive, this guy is making it very complicated, now days they sell those 2 Terabytes external hard drives under $99 and you can save hundreds of movies on it.

you don't actually need to do anything with dvd decrypter, just down load it. install it. put your dvd on it, rip it, ti would tkate between 7 to 15 minutes depending on the size of the movie, when finish click on an ifo file and enjoy a full DVD quality movie.

  • wanna be MAC jk good video works no virus thumps up if you think so

  • i dont know ...why all tutorials maker dont comes to the point...y they explain like a child how they are teaching to a 1st standard satudent..

  • Hey, how come I rip it, it's not a .WMV file?

  • I ripped a movie for the 1st time ever & using this DVD Decrypter. I'm pretty happy that it's clear enough for satisfaction but the movie is split in 6 & when watching it on my laptop, there are too many of those black rectangles (forgot what they're called) that's on top & bottom & it's also on the left & right. Makes the movie much smaller. Any help on how I can make the movie in a whole & maybe make the movie a big bigger than it is? Thanks!

  • it gave me the movie in parts, how can i make it in one file??

  • @act2scene5 it works! now how do you put it in your itunes library?

  • The majority of DVDs now have some kind of copy protection system. Does this program bypass it?

  • do we have to download "Tool to Play DVD Raw Data'?

  • wut happens if there is no enable stream processing box please answer fast

  • @Scubadiver82 I also had this problem when did my first rip, I couldn't see the Input or Stream Processing tabs above the right hand box. Once the DVD is in your drive and details appear the "Source" box, click onto the "Mode" tab in the top toolbar of the DVD decrypter window. This brings up a drop-down menu. Make certain that you choose "IFO". This will enable the "Input" and "Stream processing" tabs on the right box. Choose "Stream Processing" and follow the video. Self-explanatory after that

  • after you rip the movies, can you play in vlc media player?

  • How do I get subtitles on the movie? I've already done all the things that you've said in your video, but how do I put the subtitles on it?

  • Or get MagicDVDRipper! Does all of this for you. You get 5 free rips with it but you can just delete it from the registry and get unlimited trials. Message me it you want to know how, just cba to write it all down here :)

  • when I choose the IFO file it says "no title(s) found your file may be copy protected or badly written..." It does this for every movie I try to rip. I can view the "VOD" files but not the IFO that is instructed.. The VOD files are only parts of the movie not the full.. Any help would be great

  • so after riping how do I cut it in clips of 15 min and upload it on youtube as my home video of two hours?

  • best clana video for me!!!!!!!! The effects are so aaaawwwweesssooome!!!

  • for example dvds made by disney its impossible to rip becuse its just sayin error. i think its because it has a very god copy protection, pleas answer me if you know how to fix it. btw nice video

  • umm idk if this is good or bad... my time remaining is only like 1 min. good or bad movie is like bout 2 hour long???

  • thanks helped alot

  • @naruto323100 yes u can

  • How do i veiw files ripped to an external hard drive with a FAT32 file system?

  • How do i veiw files ripped to an external hard drive with a FAT32 file system

  • Just came across a little problem: can only only view dvd's ripped to C-Drive using windows media player but cannot view files ripped to external harddrive.

C-drive uses NTFS file system where as portable harddrive uses FAT32 file system, just wondering if this was likely to be the root of problem

  • Cheers for posting buddy!

After so many failed attempts to download and install other decrypter programs such as DVD shrink, etc,

DVD decrypter so far seems to be working well, phheeewww at last!

Managed to successfuly watch, "Trains planes and automobiles" in VOB file format using Windows media player 10.

Now when i go travelling with my laptop it will save me having to lug around 70 or so dvds with me!

  • @sekwah09 there should be a way whereby you can format your portable hard drive to use the NTFS file system. I have a WD 2TB external hard drive where I've archived quite a number of DVDs. This was formated for NTFS when I first connected it to my pc. There's no reason why you cannot do the same for a portable drive as well.

The only problem I've come across is that there are certain discs which the decrypter refuses to process.

  • Does the quality of the ripped dvd version, look crap? Or is the quality the same as the the DVD itself? Thanks :)

  • can the movie be viewable in the new windows movie player?

  • awesome tut man :D

  • it worked thanks:) but now how do you burn it?

  • @MIKE11LOKO a completely different program

  • Thank you!!

  • fuck fuck fuck

  • dude your my hero

I've tried a whole day to rip a dvd and now I finally did it

    Thank you very much!

    keep up to good work

  • This works on other versions of WMP also

  • why dont I have the input and stream processing tabs?

  • @Froastwolf oh I needed to select IFO first

  • is this what you also call "burning"? :-/

    just curious :)

  • @moneyinthebank14344 Burning is when you put files onto a disc, ripping is copying them from a disc

  • I do IT and was wandering if this works with an CD drive.

    I know I should know this but I don't.

  • what if i want to burn the movie or pass it to my ipod since it comes in several parts what do i do?

  • Far as I can see and have tried Kick -Ass will not rip.

  • @nascarsuxx I tried it with my copy of Kick-Ass also and the process always freezes at 7%. Doesn't get further than that. This also happened with Expendables. Both of these are released by Lionsgate, so there may be something in their encoding that prevents the rip occurring. Have you found a way around it?

  • I'm not getting input/stream processing tabs in right pane (see 1:36)?

What's up? I got software as described...

  • so far u have made the best tuturial i have ever seen !! thanks so much !! u r a life saver !!

  • thanks for the video Act2Scene5, I have one question, why does my dvd decryper dont have steaming processing tab or input tab?

  • @hdgamer123 I had the same problem too. I messed around a little bit and I found them under "mode>IFO" and the tabs were there... hope that helps

  • thanx, worked great

  • for some reason, mine stops at 18% please help

  • would this work with games?

  • One of the best tutorials on youtube! But I only have two problems with getting it to work.

    1. I have 20 IFO files and none of them play.

    2. I can play the video files perfectly, but they are all separate and do not play like a movie, instead as if separate files.

If you can help me with these, this video is flawless.

    Thanks

  • I should add under the first problem that you only had one, and when you played it, it started the entire video, none of mine play or start the video. How can I just one like you had?

  • One IFO file that is

  • Thanks for posting this video. very useful

  • OMG it works thanx ! i tried the other programs but they didnt work this one does

  • What is ripin?

  • "Ripping" is the process of extracting data from a DVD and placing it on your hard drive. Once the data is on your hard drive, it can be operated on. In other words, it can be converted to another format, burned to a blank DVD, or even viewed on your PC.

  • @Act2Scene5 o AVI. for example?

  • @Act2Scene5 dont u think the size is to big?

  • @Act2Scene5 does it harm the disk?

  • @hell102938475 hahaha retard!

  • @hell102938475 riping is basically transferring something on your computer which has been burned on a c-d or dvd

    Great Tut. mann Much Needed

  • @hell102938475 you fucking retard!

  • Could you help me solve problem? When I insert DVD, it got error on this computer, how can I solve the problem?

  • dvd decryper safe to download? need to know asap

  • It is safe

  • i have a question on dvd decrypter when i did it it was only 30 minutes long my movie is over 2 hours though

  • There are no limitations with DVD Decrypter. Make sure that you are ripping to a hard drive with plenty of space. 10GB or more. Another possibility is that you selected the wrong IFO file.

  • can u please show a how to rip dvd to play it on dvd players .

  • Thank you soooooo much!!!! You're great!!! BTW, you have a really nice voice. :-)

  • when i download media player classic it gets downloaded as a zip file and i dont know what to do next, please help

  • i have a question, after the dvd has been ripped, it ends up in like 7 parts. I was wondering is there anyway where i can rip the dvd into 1 file instead of 7 different parts?

  • can u use these ripped DVD footage on such applications like Sony Vegas?

  • im wondering the same haha=D

  • naw man, u can, what u have to do is the convert them the files to WMV on a video converter and then they work!! :)

  • nicee btw i saw some of ur videos and they are very amazing! =D

  • this is a good program. but sometimes it doesn't work...

  • i get an error

  • Castaway!!! That movie is so cool!!! Nic tutorial by the way :)

  • Didnt work :(!

  • What part did not work? Explain.

  • It worked! Thank you.

    Although, the video was seperated into 5 parts. VTS_01_0, VTS_01_0(1), VTS_01_0(2), VTS_01_0(3) and VTS_01_0(4).

Plus the subtitle doesn't work. I'm guessing the subtitle is in VTS_01_0.

Anyway I can make it one video and have the sibtitle work?

    Thank you.
