If you've seen the old school seasons of The Real World, back in the dark ages where people didnt understand other people's diversities, and as they come together in 1 house and confront and learn about each other, it kinda brought them together as lifelong friends/family. Very real, a wealth of depth. It's probably what JD was expecting from this experience and was so disappointed about. The show isnt like that anymore though, thats why I dont watch it :P esp. after boston's violence
