nice sound. Conn is truly versatile. You can make is sound like an old pump (reed organ) or make is sound like a pipe organ or just use tibias and make is sound like a hammond. You cannot go wrong with a conn. Unfortunatly they do have problems especially the pedals and key contacts. One secret I have learned about organs: play them! play them play them. work the keys and stop and other switches. use the pedals. A sitting unused organ will develope more problems whether its tube or transister
As the information section on the top right notes, the Hymn comes from my Church's hymnal...Most Church hymnals should have this song...Yes, God Is Real...
Thanks for this song.. I use to play a Conn organ in Alabama.. I have now relocated to Fairfax Virginia and don't play much.. This makes me want to buy a Organ... Thank you and keep up the good work....
@cvmapodoctrine I can tell you are either hearing impaired or musically illiterate, this is a beautiful sounding Organ, and plus the player is doing such a great job!!!
All I know is that it was FREE, the FREE model. Kidding, no, I don't know, I am sure if I were to investigate either in the bench or behind the organ I may find a sticker or some identification. (Nope, nothing's in the bench) Check out my other selections on my Church's hammond C-3. I play this piece again on it. This a good organ, pure sound with clarity, I want to add a speaker to it. Thanks for your reply.
It's a Conn 717 Artist from the 50's. It was built before Conn joined hands with Kimball (which if I'm not mistaking, occurred in the 1970s). Kimball-Conn organs have square preset pistons. The previous Conns had round pistons. There was another Conn 717 from AFTER the company joined hands with Kimball. That model is transistorized. The model on the vid sounds a lot better than the one I played!

This is my song! Nothing says my relationship with him better than the chorus
Yes God is real
Yes, God is real,
real in my soul.
(Yes, God is) real,
for He has washed and made me whole.
His love for me,
(is like pure gold) just like pure gold,
(Yes, God is) real, for I can feel Him in my soul
