That looks yummy. I have seen that in the grocery store in those clear containers in the deli. I am gonna grow roma tomatoes and basil too so I can't wait to make this recipe!
That is so nice of your hubby to film you! Thank you. Can I borrow him to help build my garden? lol. Thank you both for sharing!! So sweet to hear Jaden in the background, even if he is poopy!
I would love to have a garden like that i love your #9 video nothing better that going to the garden and picking a big juicy tomato for a blt (my favorite sandwich ever)
We are starting our square foot gardens and have loved watching your gardening videos and the progress your plants are making. We definitely want to plant the steak tomatoes in our garden.
Thanks for sharing and we look forward to more of your gardening videos :)
the reason I commented about picking the tomatos before they are fully red is that it won't effect the flavor or sugar content to let them finish ripining in a paper sack and the bird won't be so tempted to get the bright red ones. When tomatoes turn about one-half green and one-half pink (called the breaker stage), a layer of cells forms across their stem, sealing them off from the main vine. At this stage, tomatoes can ripen on or off the vine with no loss of quality or flavor.
I have to say, it MAY be MAY. I LOVE your video!

Lovely!! Txs for sharing the square foot garden.
Q: Does the boxes have a base too / does the roots need to grow into soil. I am planning to build the sft garden on the patio??
txs...keep the good work going!

Using disposable paper plates to chop vegetables is slightly defeating the whole purpose, don't you think?
