I disagree, What is spent is a direct correlation to what the results are, You are telling me that if You take CC, Texeria, and AJ Burnett, and Add Them To The Mets(I use those Three b/c Their Salaries combine is The Difference in The Two New York Teams Payrolls) That Their wouldn't be An Extreme Difference in Their Records? It is not now, nor has it ever been a direct correlation. If it was the Yankees would have won the last ten straight WS Titles. That isn't conjecture, it's logic, based upon the erroneous assmption that what is spent is a direct correlation to performance. If it was, how do you account for the Rays, two years ago? Baseball is more complex than you assume.
