sometimes he makes a variation on the main riff. instead of the slide from 2nd to 4th thread he plays the 4th thread first then 2nd and then open. so a progression from 4th to open instead of the slide. You can hear it at about 16 seconds into the song.

sometimes if i want to be lazy with it, i play the high notes as 8th and then 7th on the high e string, but leave the b string open. it sounds just as good! anyway, this was an excellent tutorial. cheers mate :)

You still have to tune it however you want.
