I saw this on Anderson Cooper. Apparently the helmsman of the ship was a rookie and did not know how to recover a aircraft carrier from a tail spin. I found the story to be a little harsh as many people know aircraft carriers have a particulalry low amount of lift above sea level, which makes it hard to regain control when in descent.

it would spin because aircraft carriers are NOT symmetrical and the planes stay on because they are objects built onto .acf file that is the carrier

I take it you have never set foot on one of our great Navy carriers? As my handle suggest, I have been around a naval ship or two. As far as weight goes they are symmetrical or they would not function well at sea. The air craft I was referring too, in the real world are not built into the deck.

However that all said, I love the idea of an 88,000 ton ship fail to earth, it would be nice to see it executed a little better. Would Michael Bay do it that way? I think not.

I Live near new york so i go to the USS Intrepid a fair amount ad i have also built a few models of aircraft carriers. the weight is symmetrical, but the aerodynamic shape isnt, with the angled deck ad elevators they sorta do the same thing as ailerons on an airplane if the carrier was falling. And This is a simulator not the real world so I am sorry that the planes dont fly off. also the only thing i did in this video was click 3 times and push a few keys. so it is so well done as it can be.
