I don't think many Catholics understand the dangers of New Age philosophy and practice. I had a friend who was almost killed because he was into witchcraft. May God give discernment to these people.

i dont agree with christianity on so many basis and on so many levels, BUT she is sooo right about these new age movements about how they teach to ignore reality, ignore morals,ignore giveing some one a helping hand because it might ruin your make believe world of positive thoughts or whatever.now there is no enlightenment within these fraudulent movements.the end result===SMILING DEPRESSIVE

For example, what is rightly being warned against in the video is using the mind or the will to change destiny, reducing God to an impersonal force. However, we can also use the mind and will and set it on the things of a personal God.

We can hope for the triumph of good over evil. We can hope for the salvation of others. And we can have faith and use prayer, tempered by our own will that God’s will is completed in all the things that we hope and pray for (if it is within His will).

in fact, there's a video Aging, Dying and Suicide in the Law of Attraction on youtube, go and see what abraham says about suicide if you don't believe this: "it means she's a deliberate creator more than most." *people laughing, charmed* "every death is suicide, some of you just bring it about a little longer, slower, more painful way." even after the lady says "thank you", abraham continues about rules and breaking the rules in somewhat irritated fashion.

Wrong. She gave wrong advices to wrong people. She shouldn't tell things about Abraham to suicidal people. She miscommunicate things by try to reason and explained things literally.

What this suicidal lady actually asked was: "is life worth living?"

She is not a good communicator. She should just have said: God loves you, life is worth it. Enjoy your life. That's the REAL Abraham teaching. Abraham teaches LOVE LOVE LOVE, and "enjoy live", which is aligned with Catholic teaching.

"Abraham" is not a canonized Saint and the teachings of this so-called "spirit" is contrary to what the Church teaches about God and His relationship with human-kind. And the advice that Sharon lee gave to the woman in her story is the logical conclusion of Abraham's "advice." Ephesians 4:27 "do not give the devil an opportunity."

How do you know Abraham isn't an evil spirit trying to decieve you? Think about it! Even humans try to pass off superficial messages that are deceptive. For example, some music "artists" preach "love love love" in their ballads and "love songs" when in fact they really mean LUST LUST LUST! If you look inside yourself to find "God" you will only associate your inner self as a god. New Age = idolatry & occult practices with "energy" that doesn't exist (spiritual energy = oxymoron).

Not scientifically proven? Do you know anything about Quantum Physics? I am a Christian, but I am not so closed minded to think that Quantum Physics does not exist, it is scientifically proven. Did you know that the very act of observing light changes it's pattern of movement? It's proven. Which means, everything, including light, you, me, the rocks and trees and the dirt we walk on, has some level of awareness. It is written in the Word that if we do not praise Him, the rocks and trees will.

@savethehumans100 @savethehumans100 The "law of attraction" is not Quantum Physics, and even if it were, any scientist that has done work in that field will tell you that the theory of does not apply to the macro level...meaning there is no "proof" for it in every day life. Also, as a Christian you ought to ask yourself if Scripture actual supports the idea that a human beings can manipulate energy simply by thinking about it, or if that type of power is reserved for God alone.

I once had a man tell me he believed in Abraham. The first thing I thought was he believed only in the Old testament, never clued in that it was this New Age stuff.

I found it interesting about the lady who said she was beat up by an evil spirit. I would have thought God would protect her, but maybe God wanted her to know what type of spirits she had gotten herself involved in. But I do know that God will protect you when you ask.
