@vickizspace Oh a band surely won't be the same without one of its main faces, but I don't know neither Steven nor Joe so as far as feelings go I have no factual knowledge on, we can only assume. And I mean they gotta keep doing something so sure they looked for someone else, though it wouldn't be the same. But now they're in different bands I believe so it doesn't matter. Hopefully everything will be ok for them! :)

@Maramae527 Steven Tyler is in my belief at the point of his career where it doesn't matter anymore if he takes his Aerosmith career seriously or not. He made most likely close to or over a Billion dollars in his career, and has been with Aerosmith for 40 some years now. What ever choice he makes now really wont effect him at all. But then again; if getting out is what Steven wanted; he should have talked to the rest of the band instead of getting hurt and trying to be the youngster he once was.

Joe is an awesome guitar player, but I've got a few issues with him, just like he has issues with Steven:

Joe was one of the "Toxic Twins" too...so his history is not so great. You don't bash on other people who have the exact same bad history as you.

Joe called the people that Steven visited backstage (sick children, paralyzed, etc.) "freaks". Steven has more of a heart, at least.

Joe looks like a freaking drag queen in the 2010 Cocked, Locked and Ready To Rock tour. Enough said.

My dad was wounded in Desert Storm, an Army Ranger who is now paralized & in wheelchair. Even disabled, he used to take me to every Aerosmith show that came near us~~his all time fave band. Out of the blue he stopped listenting to them (I thought it was becos he always said the old Asmith was so better, but found out he had read the band's autobiography. In it Joe says :Steven is always hanging out with those freaks in wheelchairs at shows. I'll never go to another of their shows, but love Stv.

But after 35 plus years of secrecy, he should do the standup thing and pay tribute to the true professional guitarists who were hired during some of Aerosmith's earlier recording sessions to both collaborate and to play solos on some of those classic songs.

Aerosmith has been together a long time and I think they need some away time. Tyler has been busting his ass along with the rest of the band for years. I saw it coming. I grew up on Aerosmith but it's hard with touring and egos. Wish them the best of luck on the journey to regroup!!!!

Yeah because of Joe Perry I picked up my guitar couple years ago, but I think that Joe is trying to be the boss of Aerosmith, and trying to kick Steven out of the band. Separate him. I think that Joe is making a big mistake saying that "Aerosmith is looking for a new siger". That's bullshit and I will never forgive Joe if they find someone to replace Steven.
