  • Do u guys own gtr's? if u did u'd know that all older model gtr's run rich at high rpms to prevent oil starvation and because they're high performance from stock, the black smoke is just the excess being burnt off! if it needed a tune it'd be blowing think and full black smoke from idle (at worst)!

  • @PSICHOTIC09

oil starvation has nothing to do with the tune, it is a problem with all rb motors in a nutshell you have an inadequate sized sump which from factory pumps too much oil to the heads leaving not enough oil in the sump. This in conjunction with hard acceleration and cornering causes spun bearings. The rich tune at high rpm has nothing to do with this, the tuner may have done this to cool combustion temps or even as a safety margin especially if the motor is unopened.

  • how much horsepower is that?

  • Well that'd be roughly 670hp

  • nice.

  • this thing is way outta tune!!

  • It sounds rough dont it.

  • no the sound is normal......thats what they sound like.

It's the black smoke shooting out the exhaust at certain parts of the rev range that i was refering to. Very shit tuning of the EFI.

  • fuck this skylines got sum power there!!

  • 500kw... f*ck yeah!!
