@bluedavenger Wheres the link? 6 seconds is not slow. Not by a long shot. A GSR runs 0-60 in around 7. A Type-R runs it in just over 6. A Type-R is made for one thing, speed and agility. Those early SAABs were capable of a lot more. They're the definition of Sport-Sedan; able to carry a family of 5, work as a pickup-truck and still manage to be competitive at the race track. If you know anything about SAABs, yours included, its that the car's ability cannot be wholly determined by a 0-60 time.

Vet inte vad du har för referenser vad gäller Saab turbo och framhjulsdrift, men i detta fallet är du ganska fel ute. Lådan är förresten en 6vxl från 9-3ss som håller fint för effekter uppåt 600hk.
Why would somebody make that Saab fast? Probably because they like their Saab but we lack the resources(crap parent company=GM) to have a performance division such as the M division of BMW. To each his own, and I like Saabs!
I think a normal Saab that is not convirtible should go much faster. Because the chassie in the convirtible is reinforce, and that gives it moore weight.

are you serious just wow I am not even going to waste the time to go through the fluid dynamics and laws of physics that your are completely ignoring. I will say if there was front end lift on the saab or if the car wasnt modded just a stock turbo youd be right but lets face it supercharger or turbo you put but them in 2 identical cars the power will go to the ground and only be lost if wheel spin or front end lift take place I know the saab and unless you cant drive then you can work the car

also 100% guarantee every car have driven with a supercharger most likely been a v8 and every turbo has been a I4 the drive trains can make the feeling of power going to the ground different but the same amount of power gets to the ground like it or not its just the way physics works

if u really would want a supercharger over a turbo u know nothing about cars not saying the turbo is better just telling you that the cons of each are equal but if u were to equip two exact same engines one with turbo and one with super producing the same boost the turbo would win everyday of the week because it only gives power and doesnt take it may have a delay, but i know ways around that and the reason he came so fast at the end is because he finally put his foot down

yes but everyone forgets its disadvantage which is how it gets its power which is from the crankshaft reducing the power output that it adds a turbo as much as it has lag only give power to the engine without taking away that is y two identical cars and engines one with a turbo the other with a supercharger the one with the turbo wins

Actually the 9-3 convertible weighs 3500-3700 lbs (depends on year). the m5 is around 4000 I think. That's not 2/3 the weight... not even close.

I got the numbers off Wikipedia (not the most accurate source:\) but at first I thought that was a second gen 9-3 when I re watched the video today, it's not. My bad. Still saying 2/3s implies the Saab weights like 2500 pounds.

These are both super fast cars, the Saab 9-3 must have a massive turbo and good engine management to do that kind of speed, still I would rather have the M5 ;)

De märkte jag en dag när jag körde min kusins 530. De stod en svart 900 från 94-95 kanske. Stod vid stoppljusen påväg ut på motorvägen.
Så tänkte jag det skulle va kul klämma på och se hur länge saaben hänger med.
Så efter grönt så körde jag nog upp till 50 sen äsch nu kliver jag på..
Men dröm om min förvåning när det bara brölade till och saaben försvann :)
Innan jag ens va uppe i runt 130 så va den saaben 100meter framför.
BMW och Saab är mina favoriter

Så mycket gör inte CW värdet, anledningen till sen upphämtning beror på grepp-problem. Tror CW värdet bilarna emellan är ganska lika då cabben har betydligt sämre pga att taket reser sig. Ligger runt 0,34.

Vet inte vad du har för referenser vad gäller Saab turbo och framhjulsdrift, men i detta fallet är du ganska fel ute. Lådan är förresten en 6vxl från 9-3ss som håller fint för effekter uppåt 600hk.

I think a normal Saab that is not convirtible should go much faster. Because the chassie in the convirtible is reinforce, and that gives it moore weight.
