Just so you all know, Rupert and Hubert are not Mr Beans friends....They were co-workers of whatever he works for (I think he works for a museum...according to the Mr Bean film)

Even so, they could have been nicer to him. I myself have been left alone at New Years when my parents went overseas for 3 weeks and my sister went out with her boyfriend when they were meant to stay with me. I had to ignore the phone call from my parents who wanted to wish us new years... it was extremely saddening.

and by ignoring the phone call, I mean that my parents didnt want me left alone since back then (in 2001) I was suffering from depression and anxiety and my sister disobayed them and told me not to answer the phone, so I heard my parents leave a message wishing us the best and I wept because I felt so lonely.

Actually, one of my freinds has the "original" vhs tapes of all the episodes.. not the vhs's with the different colours but the very first time they were released (orangy brown colour boxes), because there's a scene where he goofs around with the reclining chair cuz that old couple in line want the chair also, so he re-wires the chairs relcining controls so that they don't want to buy it so Bean gets it. There's quite af ew scenes cut in the dvd and the second vhs releases
