How to fix your xbox 360 from over heating(frozen xbox 360)

I got the three red rings of death and me and my dad opened it changed some screws and there were no more red rings of death. however we live in arizona and left during the summer to go to england for 2 weeks. When we came back the xbox has frozen everytime we turn it on after like 3 min no matter what the game are there any suggestions please

Everyone if you xbox360 kicks the bucket which it will adventually but when it does buy a xbox slim they have claimed to have fixed the RROD

OH i think if u disconnect everything from it itll cool down because if its connected the energy keeps flowing in it like a battery charger so disconnect it for a while and when ur done playing

You have to open up you xbox and vaccum it out. It's because of dust buildup inside the XBox 360 that it does that!

How long do you have to put the vacuum in the vents? When I did it, it still froze. I don't kno what happened. I think I did it right. I have literally tried everything on youtube but there is not anything that works.  DOES ANYONE HAVE A GUARANTEED SOLUTION???????????? ( not sending it to freaking microsoft. They are retarded)

MicroSoft are some Bit**'s Open your box and dust it out that's the first step then clean the CPU & GPU Heat sink's & Put on new compound (ARTIC SILVER 5)

DO NOT VACCUME IT. I did it and right after it I got the 3 rings A.K.A Red Ring Of Death. Now I have to send it to microsoft.

actually this does not work..my xbox gets the 2 rings every 10 min. i vaccumed it and it still did it in 10 min...its very gay!

i have done it but it only worked temporarily ( a few weeks)

and then more dust got in my 360 and when i tried to vacuum it, the dust gets stuck on my fans so i took apart my 360 and cleaned it manually

i dont know much about xboxes not turning on but u could send your xbox to microsoft. it might be that your surge box has been fried or your power cord is broken...srry that i couldnt help much
